Rather bland

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Leisure centre looked good although I did not use it
Cons: It needs an update
Hotel was Ok but there is no WOW factor. It was very bland, no stand out. Just a box in a City.

Great hotel but a bit tired decoration.

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: Closeness to The Hydro
Cons: As above
Location: Wish we had time to explore the area but we're through for a concert and met up with family to eat before ( not at the hotel)
1st reaction was a nice hotel but couldn't get the temperature in the bedroom to go below what seemed like 20 degrees, luckily we were only staying 1 night! The stairs down from 1 St floor and the reception are in need of redecoration, saying that breakfast was enjoyable with very attentive staff

Hotel near hydro

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay recently and would look to return. The staff were all friendly and helpful; our room was comfortably spacious and we slept soundly; our evening meal and breakfast was of good quality, feeling satisfied :)

Good value for money.

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: I especially liked the pool and spa facilities. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable with good quality sheets.
Cons: Our room was rather dark. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty we had to make a reservation, although we were not told this on checking in.
Location: The hotel was close enough to walk to the city center but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds.
We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel and out time in Glasgow.

Pros: Clean and friendly. Nice pool and gym
Cons: Thicker pillows
Location: Close to town centre and SEEC
Would prefer room with an opening window as we found room very warm even with air conditioning turned on. Staff were all lovely and friendly.

Perfect location between secc/hydro & City centre

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Great shower, comfy massive bed. Great location for both secc/hyrdo and city centre.
Cons: Mould is a no no! Also a bit of common sense needed for breakfasts, please serve milk with cereal!
Location: The hotel is about 15minutes walk from the centre of glasgow, and 15 mins to the hydro arena.
Was very pleasantly surprised on arrival, gorgeous reception, very fancy. Staff attentive and helpful. Room was nice but nothing special. Bath had patches of mould and there were some stains on wallpaper on one wall. However, shower was excellent, bed was huge, bigger than a standard king size bed but claims to be a double :-). I ordered room service, excellent food at reasonable prices. Drinks very reasonable too. Breakfast was nice but could be better, no milk served with cereal. No preserves with croissants as menu stated (breakfast was served in room by request).
