Reasonable HotelPosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: It was out of the way from the centre, yet only a 3 mins train ride from the Station next to the hotel and trains passing every ten mins, Happy days
Cons: The size of my room was very small with very little room to move and with only a double bed in it, Possibly Bars of soap, rather than foam and liquid
Location: you are on the fringe of where there is plenty of entertainment for young and old (45-50) there is plenty of eating places also from fancy restraunts
I have stopped at this Hotel on a few occasions, and on this occassion Our room was facing the multi storey car park, the view wasn't brilliant but there was a trade off with the busy road traffic on the other side of the hotel, We stayed Friday and Saturday nights, Friday night was quiet and slept rite through but Saturday there was a party of young girls making a lot of noise around three AM on my floor which was floor 5, this both woke me and my wife. I never complained to the staff in the morning as they were too nice, I would stop again at this hotel and think it is situated in the rite place if you dont want the hustle and bustle of George Square and surrounding Areas.

Great price for comfortable city centre hotelPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Pleasant staff , unusual corner room, deep bath and handy hairdryer
Cons: There were no complaints about our stay- everything was great.
Location: Its in the Charing Cross area of Glasgow right next door to the low level railway so you can get a train one stop to queen st station. Close to Tuts.
Quick check in by pleasant staff. I phoned before to ask for one of the larger rooms as I had been told the room sizes vary. Got a lovely corner room on 7th floor with fabulous views over the city rooftops. The room had Tea making facilities and nice deep bath and shower with lovely piping hot water and plenty of towels and a hairdryer. The beds were clean and reasonably comfy. This corner room had two large picture windows. There was a heater provided which we didn't use as I prefer my room cooler but it was a little chilly without it. Would definitely stay here again it was great value for money and only a few minutes walk from King Tuts where we were going to a gig.

Good hotel, you get what you pay forPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: It is just a stop over hotel so that is what you get
Location: Bar / restraunt baby grand. Brill
Went to see peter gabriel in new hydro, 20 mins walk from here so ideal. Do not overlook the bar outside the hotel called baby grand. Excellent bar and food, tapas etc open late and for cheaper than hotel breakfast. Would go back just for that.

Nice stay; lovely servicePosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Glasgow sights are spread out and we were most interested in going to the Kelvingrove art gallery and museum so we opted to stay at the Premier Inn. The room was spacious. Wifi was free for 30 minutes, but the rate to have it for 24 hours was very reasonable. The service was wonderful - all staff were friendly, answered our queries, and assisted us with transportation. Although the hotel is on the motorway it was not more noisy than usual for staying in a city. We did enjoy our nights at the Premier Inn and would recommend it as well as stay again.

Functional - does what it says on the tin!!Posted Aug 29, 2013
Cons: The decor of the corridors and landings is rather 'tired' with paintwork chipped and peeling in places.
Location: Right above Glasgow Charing Cross station, behind the main Theatre, near Sauciehall Street.
My heart sank when I saw the hotel was immediately above the railway station, but my room (on the 7th floor) had lovely views over Glasgow and was far enough away for the noise to not be an issue. The room was functional, clean and just what I expected for the money. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would use this hotel again if I am in the same area.
