“Fantastic, but not what we expected”
We thought we were renting a hotel room for one night, king bed, four star. What we got was a luxury, two bedroom, huge apartment, with top of the line fixtures and furnishings, etc. Everything brand new and spotless. It's possible the Expedia site explained this and we failed to read the fine print. So this was a "surprise in a good direction" but the check-in system was kind of funky. Just a desk inside the front door, with one person there, handing out keys. And apparently it closed at 7pm or something like that. If we'd arrived late I'm not sure what would have happened. If I were to return to Glasgow, I'd try to stay here again, because the value is off the charts. In fact, I would like to know where similar "luxury apartments" can be rented for a modest 4-star hotel rate.
