“Great hotel”

Great condition. Incredible pool. Excellent exercise facilities. Didn't play the golf course, but it looked very nice. Very, very nice breakfast buffet.

“Exceptional Hotel, Friendly Staff, Good Dining”

This is a large hotel and a well-equipped facility for everyone, and if golf is something the traveler enjoys, there is a well-kept course looking out onto the mountains. Its ideal location in the Glasgow suburb of Cumbernauld (Craig Ferguson's hometown) makes it perfect for travel all over Scotland. We stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks, and every day we went a different direction to enjoy the beautiful landscape (glens, mountains, and farmland), museums, castles, and cities. Even though this July was exceptionally rainy, we were able to find a place without rain for sightseeing every day but one. I found the hotel staff friendly and helpful; the breakfast was buffet-style and offered many Scottish staples, such as Haggis, as well as the typical English and American breakfast items. I would definitely go back not only to this hotel but also to Scotland. I felt at home.
