“Aloft, a nice experience”

Overall, a very nice hotel. It was fairly recently constructed so had that new hotel feel. Only really have two complaints at all, and one is really a maintenance issue, that I would expect is remedied by now. The bathroom sliding door was wall out of adjustment and made a horrifying screeching noise when opened. It rubbed against the vanity counter top. Hotel staff said that it would be fixed first thing Monday, our stay was Friday and Saturday. The second complaint is a convienence issue. Apparently, there was not as I expected a ice machine per floor, rather just one on the main floor. What can I say, I like ice and to have to hit the elevator, drop down get ice, then come back up. Both of these are very minor, but worth noting, and my opinion only. Other than these, the place was great, very comfortable and almost fun!

“brand new”

It's a brand new hotel. We stayed there for 1 night to go to the Packers game. It is possible to walk to the stadium but it takes longer than you would think. Everything else was superb

“Nice hotel, cool decor, a little off the beaten path”

The hotel is new and very clean. The decor is cool and the beds are comfortable. No issues other than it is a little difficult to find.

“Aloft on a list of a hotel to recommend”

Arrived to find a very modern and colorful structure and friendly staff. Not having traveled in a while it was interesting to see a hotel with a unique layout such as Aloft. Small but very open with a rainbow of colors of wood, glass and metal textures. Check-in, check-out, concierge, a la carte food item check-out; all conducted with-in a small well organized circular counter area with concrete counter tops. Pool table, bar and seating areas all centered around an in/out door fireplace. Seating areas had a few power outlets available for my battery eating power hungry Droid Razr. Room was perfect for our short stay with a simple loft style bedroom/bathroom layout pleasantly lighted with a mix of artificial and natural lighting. (Shower stall

“Not your everyday hotel!! :)”

This is a very interesting hotel, not your run of the mill. It is modern, you definately get the "loft" feeling, contemporary. The pool area is very nice, warm air and water!! The coffee in the room is very good. Remember your hair dryer, there are none hanging on the wall. The bed was comfy, upscale shower bath area. We had trouble with the temperature in the room, it went from cold to warm, it wasnt working real well. There are snacks and breakfast available for a charge. There is music and happy hour in a comfortable setting. You have the ability to order food for room service or dine right out the back door.

“It was OK....”

First of all know that I was sick on our hubby-wife get away weekend. But I do have to say that, although it was nice, we have stayed in better. Check in was very nice but as we went up to the room we noticed right away the amount of noise coming from the rooms. And my I note that they were talking in normal ranges. The rooms are unique and clean but in the room we had, there was no chair except for the one by the desk. There was no bathtub, just a shower with glass doors that did not seal so there was aways a wet puddle by the door, and the mattress pad and the bottom sheet did not fit the bed and kept coming off. They did not have a breakfast buffet, but they did have some breakfast items that you could buy. There is no diner or restaraunt attached so we had to go out in nasty weather, to get to someplace to eat. The noise from the hallways into the rooms, too, was excessive you could hear the locks and the footsteps, coughs, running, talking...all night. The decor is rather industrial and modern and ok if you like that kind of thing. But I prefer warm, cosy, quiet, comfortable with sheets that fit., but thats just me. It was fun to try once, but, we won't try it again.
