inexpensive and convenient downtown hotel.

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location and condition of hotel.
Cons: Take of the bedspreads and opt for duvets that can be cleaned.
Location: Right across from nice restaurants and the river front.
Decent downtown hotel close to restaurants and bars and right across from river front park. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.

Much better than I expected for the price. Will be our first choice every time we go to Green Bay!

This is being super picky but just a thought, my room door could have used some maintenance. It looked like it had been patched together maybe time for a new one. 149. Other than that minor picky thing. The staff was incredible. I had to take my friend to the ER that night cause she fell. I was offered towels bags of ice and a general concern for her well being from staff. I will not stay in any other hotel in Green Bay. I Also won a stuffed animal from their killer game room. I will reccomed this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay business or pleasure the pricing is very reasonable based on the amenities and the location is superb.

Ice bowl 2

Booked this room thru hotel dot com for the Packer playoff game vs the 49rs. The ultra convenient feature that attracted me to this place was that the Green Bay metro shuttle (I believe the Lambeau leap and another) to and from Lambeau runs right by the hotel (down the road about 500 feet.) also, I was able to book the room about a week before heading into town for a solid price of under $150 per night. On game days I would expect early check ins to be tough due to the large volume of people checking in, which was true. The five people before and after me checking in did not have their room ready at 1:30 (check in is at 3.) however my hotel.com booked room WAS READY. Not sure if that's luck or the benefit of using this website. The rooms and building are older, but sufficient. Really this place is 2.5 stars. I received good service but I'm nice, others being grumpy did not get good service but I figured they were tough to work with. Free parking is a cool feature here. Down the road are some good bars within walking distance and it's a short drive to get to others.

Pros: nice staff, the pool is nice, the breakfast was great
Location: the fox harbor right across the street is an awesome bar with great bar food and good drink selection. definitely go there.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The room next to us woke us up one morning being loud and having the tv on loudly. One of our towels had a bunch of hair in it. Other than that, no complaints. We were in for a steeler game and didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping and what not.

Thank you for your comment about out hotel. We had a housekeeping meeting about the towels along with talking to our frontdesk that when they walk the halls and hear noise to call the rooms that have the TV or radios to loud. We are happy you joined us for the Steelers game an hope to see you in the future for another game.

Enjoyed my stay

The staff was friendly and the room was bigger than I thought it would be! We came for a night, for Sunday afternoon football. We stayed in a room adjacent to the pool. Fortunate for us the pool was not populated with a lot of kids, otherwise I think the noise level would have bothered me. The rooms are quiet so you won't hear your neighbors in adjoining rooms. There's a cool pub across the street with live music Saturday nights. It's walking distance from a few bars with a hopping nightlife. Stir-Ups is like a college bar. Breakfast was good too.

Visit to Lambeau

Posted Dec 24, 2013
Pros: Very clean, great location, free shuttle to the game, and nice rooms
Cons: Thin walls and loud drunk people in the middle of the night. Unfortunately the room was by the pool area so peoples voices echoed.
Location: Went to visit Lambeau and it was GREAT. Lots of bars and restaurants close by and a free shuttle to the game.
The hotel overall was great, only recommendation would be not to have a room by the pool area. Very loud and people were up at all hours chatting right outside the room and it echos. I am young and like to party and it seemed these other guests did too, but they were partying Sunday night until 4am and loud. I would recommend a room not by the pool area if you are a family visiting.

Thank you for letting us know about the noise in our pool area. We have put an additional person on our night shift so this doesn't happen again. Hope you visit us and lambeau again.

Great spot downtown

Posted Dec 11, 2013
Pros: Pool and breakfast and location
Cons: Updated rooms
Location: Great place downtown and a lot to do.
This hotel is not one of your top notch places but they make up for it in so many ways. They have a really nice pool area and the staff was awesome. They were very helpful and super nice. Woke every morning to a full breakfast and when I say full I mean full. Not your conventional continental breakfast. Eggs, sausage, and so much more. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
