Great place if water park is openPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: I loved the rustic charm.
Cons: Something to do in the off season would be nice.
Location: The resort is just blocks from Lambeau field, which is why we stayed there. There is plenty of things going on at the football field and in town.
We knew ahead of time that the park would be closed, they even called to verify, which was appreciated. As a couple who was looking for a place to relax for a couple days it was a bit disappointing that there was no pool or hot tub available for general use. Not everyone has kids and even those with kids may want to use a pool that they could just relax in. Also, upon checking the rates for different days we found out that we paid the same price for the room regardless of whether the water park was operational or not. We paid the same rate for a Monday night with a closed water park that someone on Wednesday night with an open water park would pay. I would like to have seen some kind of discount. Even if it was a voucher for breakfast, something that is not normally included. If you have kids and the water park is open, then you will like this place. It you are looking to have some fun without your kids around, look elsewhere.

Get the top floor if you want to sleep!Posted Sep 2, 2013
Location: Green Bay stadium was fun.
Stayed for one night with our two children. Unable to sleep because we were on the second floor and the people in the room above us must have been jumping on and off the furniture. Very noisy loud thumping until 1230am then started up again at 6am. Called hotel front desk and they said they would take care of it. Lol....My husband walked up there the next morning and the kids were just running from room to room crazy. Obviously there are no rules in this hotel and anything goes. The hotel staff doesn't care. The waterpark is ok, it was very crowed. Two medium slides, lazy river, dumping bucket occupied our kids for about two hours. They didn't even want to go back the next morning. Save your money and stay somewhere cheaper when in Green Bay....

We will stay againPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for. We went there with our grandchildren and stayed the night before we took them to Packer training camp. The waterpark was perfect for what we were looking for. It had a lazy river, two very fun slides, an area where the really little ones can play in the shallow water, a climber complete with several sprayers and of course the bucket that dumps a ton of water on everyone and a pool....not terribly huge, but it made it much easier to not stress about the kids getting lost, etc. Although the resort was completely booked, there were no lines to go down the waterslides, we were able to find a table to put our things on and none of the water activities were over crowded. Our room was very nice, beds were comfortable and it was very clean. One more positive note--very quiet!! I didn't hear kids running up and down the hall, nor did I hear the people directly above us.

Hotel is mediocre...Restaurant is terrible.Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Outside appearance is inviting...not much else and won't be returning.
Cons: Cleanliness of the bathrooms. Restaurant needs to have the menu revamped and the serving staff at the bar retrained. Service was terrible.
Location: Lambeau Field and lots of sports bars. Due to the nature of sports bars, they're not kid friendly. Not many retaurants in the area to choose from.
This hotel operation is centered around the water park and the business generated from nearby Lambeau Field. The room was o.k., but there was mold on the bathroom floor around the perimeter and by the tub. They caulked over some of it. I'm not a picky sleeper, but the bed was way too soft. Pillows and sheets were o.k. The restaurant food was not good and extremely bland. Fried cheese was served with frozen centers. The staff at the bar was rude and service was horrible. Local radio promotion remote was blaringly loud and centered around the locals, not the hotel guests. In spite of the many signs in nearly every hallway, there were lots of kids running at all hours. This is not a cheap place to stay and the rate was not in line with the service provided or hotel amenities. The water park is an extra fee. I normally stay at the Hilton Garden Inns and will do so next time in Green Bay.

Excellent hotel. Only complaint was speed of service (in both being seated and waiting for food) in hotel restaurant. First night, we were nearly the only customers, and it still took about 10 minutes to be noticed/seated. That's a long time when you have a hungry 7-year-old.

Especially liked the close proximity to Lambeau Field.
