Nice for a quick getaway.

Posted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Plenty for kids to do and good dining options.
Cons: Waterpark was way too crowded on Sunday. Many people without wrist bands and in street clothes hanging out in chairs that hotel guests needed.
Location: Right near Lambeau Field and near plenty of good restaurants. Easy to find and plenty of parking.
Nice for a quick getaway with 2 ten year-old boys. Older kids might get bored.

Couldn't pay me to stay again - they tried

Posted Jan 8, 2014
Pros: Waterpark
Cons: Hotel
We've stayed here several times before and each experience just got worse. Unfortunately we were being held hostage by our grand children and this was their choice. The pool and waterpark experience were the only positive aspect of our stay. The room was either a sauna or freezing. You could only regulate by turning off completely, waking up freezing, turning on and listening to what sounded like an old jet on take off. I downloaded a decibel app - it was equal to a car going down the freeway at 70...next to the bed. I'd like to tell you about breakfast. Normally, incredibly, painfully slow. The day we went with 3 grand children in tow we didn't even get in the door. Scores of open tables everywhere, it appeared as if 3 people were on duty and that includes the cook. The two waitresses passed by us a dozen times, only after seeing my glare I was told "waiting for a clean table" as she passed by. This to our and the customers behind us came as a surprise since we could see clean tables everywhere. After 20 minutes of this joyful experience we left. Bundled up the kids got in the car and ate elsewhere. I recommend you find out if you can get a day pass for the waterpark and stay at a $50 hotel elsewhere - same experience.

waterpark closed

Posted Oct 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The rooms were comfortable. We stayed on the first floor and when you opened the curtains you were on eye level with the parking lot. Didn't like that ~ anyone walking by on the sidewalk could look right into your room so we had to keep the curtains closed. We booked through a third party and didn't realize the waterpark was closed the day we booked ~ which was the reason we booked there. We couldn't get a refund through the third party. HOWEVER, the Tundra lodge had someone call us that morning to let us know that the waterpark was closed. Although we were disappointed, at least we were prepared and not upset upon arrival.

Great place if water park is open

Posted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: I loved the rustic charm.
Cons: Something to do in the off season would be nice.
Location: The resort is just blocks from Lambeau field, which is why we stayed there. There is plenty of things going on at the football field and in town.
We knew ahead of time that the park would be closed, they even called to verify, which was appreciated. As a couple who was looking for a place to relax for a couple days it was a bit disappointing that there was no pool or hot tub available for general use. Not everyone has kids and even those with kids may want to use a pool that they could just relax in. Also, upon checking the rates for different days we found out that we paid the same price for the room regardless of whether the water park was operational or not. We paid the same rate for a Monday night with a closed water park that someone on Wednesday night with an open water park would pay. I would like to have seen some kind of discount. Even if it was a voucher for breakfast, something that is not normally included. If you have kids and the water park is open, then you will like this place. It you are looking to have some fun without your kids around, look elsewhere.

fun water park

the water park was a lot of fun for the kids. There was an issue with noise in the next room but after calling the desk the problem was resolved quickly. Would recommend this hotel to others & will stay again.
