A fine budget motel!Posted Aug 31, 2014
Well worth the cost! We had a well-sound-proofed room with scenic views. Although the room had a few minor deficiencies (warped carpet in bathroom, bent towel bar, slightly musty air conditioner), it was clean and spacious. The owner was friendly and provided great restaurant recommendations! We would definitely stay here again when visiting Green River, WY.

Pros: The personal working at the front desk was friendly.
Cons: Cleanliness & comfort
Definitely not what I was hoping for. Floors were stained and carpet was lumpy. Beds were clean but not comfortable (very springy). Shower was clean, but I thought it was weird that there was carpeting in the bathroom - in front of the shower and sink. The hotel had thin walls and all doors led directly outside (no indoor hallways) - so you could hear all the noise from the parking lot.

Good for a overnight stop.Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: The reasonable rate, cleanliness of the room, and pleasant welcome from the manager.
The Sweet Dreams Inn is a very basic small hotel which was more than adequate for my overnight stay on a long cross country trip. The room was older but looked like it had been recently remodeled or refurbished. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. There was a modular shower in my room but not bathtub. Not a big deal for me. Though shampoo and soap are provided you had best bring your own shampoo as that which is provided is in those little envelopes that are impossible to open without a pair of scissors. The hotel seems to be managed by a young family as the same very pleasant young woman who checked me in upon my arrival after midnight was the same young lady which checked me out late the next morning. When I called to inform the hotel that I may not be arriving until very late, I was informed that they did not have a 24 hour desk, but that if I would just ring the buzzer by the outside window once, she would be there to give me my key. Even though it was very late, and even though she must have had sleeping children, she appeared quickly and very pleasantly checked me in. This type of service seems to be becoming more and more rare, and I appreciated it very much. If I am every passing through again, and need a reasonably priced room that is clean and comfortable, I will stay here again without hesitation.

We came to Green River to fish and ,for the value, it was fine. We weren't looking for luxury.

Just what I needed.Posted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Big beds, no frills, clean bathroom.
Cons: A mini fridge and microwave would be nice.
Location: Close to Flaming Gorge.
I had an overnight fishing trip and needed a hotel for my buddy and I. Two queens, full bathroom, a tv and clean sheets is all we needed.

Good enough - on a budgetPosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: People, location, price.
Cons: Lighting needs help, so does the sink, carpet is loose.
Location: Flaming Gorge, Expedition Island
Friendly people, but the hotel needs considerable maintenance. Two broken lights between the beds replaced by a dollar store desk lamp, lighting weak over all. No tub, but fairly new shower insert. Fairly clean. OK consdering the market rates if your budget is tight and you don't need to read much.

Could be nice place if more upkeep was appliedPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The only good thing I can really say is the beds were clean and comfortable! And the price was very low.
Cons: Fix things when they need fixing.
Location: Green River is a strange little town and not very tourist friendly re: eating, shopping, etc. We will stay up the road at Rock Springs next time.
Great infrastructure - big rooms and big bathrooms with nice shower facilities. Unfortunately, this is another case of the owners not wanting to put any money into the place. Broken or vandalized items not repaired/replaced, about half of the lights not working or burned out, etc. Even the light that should illuminate the sign for the hotel was burned out - we arrived after dark and had to drive up and down the road repeatedly to even find it. They had free WiFi, but their router is so weak, we couldn't get a usable signal, despite this being a pretty small place. Carpets also felt damp to the touch.

Very reasonablePosted Jun 30, 2013
Pros: Price & location
Cons: Keep pricing down, it is a great bargain
Location: Flaming Gorge Day's is great, concerts, car show etc.... we walk to and from the concert when we go to Flaming Gorge Day's it is a great time!
Sweet Dreams is a great lowcost stay, there are small fridges & a microwave oven and the rooms are always clean, we have stayed here over many years and we always come back, great price and clean.
