“Great Family Owned Property”

I was skepital with the low price in comparison to other hotels in the area. This is a fantastic family owned property with great staff.

“We'll be back”

Very helpful staff! We got turned around coming into High Point and called the hotel. A young lady helped us find the hotel even though her shift was over. She talked to us three times and seemed genuinely concerned.

“Nice Surprise”

Have passed this hotel lots of times but never thought about staying there. I got a great rate at Expedia and figured "why not" The room was clean and pleasantly decorated. Not really large but big enough for one or two people. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Walking distance to all of downtown High Point. 2 blocks to IHFC

“Older hotel but the owners are trying”

This is clearly an older hotel without the fancy lobbies of current hotels so they have set aside a room for their free breakfast which is a little odd. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they are trying their best with what they have. The rooms are smaller but nicely furnished. Unfortunately, the room seemed crammed full of furniture.

“Nice and Friendly Staff”

Overall hotel was an average motel style but it was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The outside of the hotel was really pretty, as pictured. The hotel staff also , very nice, friendly. The room itself ...a dissappointment. We stayed because we were leaving very early in the am and needed to sleep from a long day of travel. I am not too picky of a person but I do not think I would reccommend it to another person.

“Hotel was nice enough, but....”

I thought the hotel was good enough for the 2 days I stayed in the hotel, but I wouldn't recommend it for a week or two stay. The room had a somewhat musty odor when I first walked in, presumably because nobody had stayed in the room for a while and it wasn't aired out. After the cleaning people went through, however, it was much better. Room was comfortable enough, but if one was any taller than I am (5'8"), they would have real problems with the shower. Believe me, it was small.

The room was not very clean and had maintenance issues. Certainly not the nice rooms pictured on the website!

“Not impressed”

You get what you pay for. It's a run-down motel in a not so nice part of town.
