Clean and comfortable.

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Area was quiet. I loved all the potted flowers outside on the property.
Cons: N/A.
Location: High Point station is a short distance from the hotel, as are the John Coltrane statue, the site of historic Woolworth's Sit-In.
Room was clean and comfortable. We also liked the fact that a commuter train into Charlotte was a short walk from the hotel!

Hotel was fine if you want one-step above a short stay.

Our Stay at the A(trium) with Jay was A- Okay

Posted Jun 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location was great, around the corner from the Amtrak station. Jay took care of us, even walking my luggage to the room. The room was quaint, cozy and comfortable. Jay showed us how to use the remote for the air-conditioner, which was welcomed, having traveled I was not in the mood to find panels knobs or off and on buttons the best part I did not have to get up to turn the air conditioner off, and my husband didn't have get out of bed to turn it back on. A good sleeping bed is one where I can rise in the morning with no back pain. This was a good sleeping bed.

Bare bones but clean

Posted Jun 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
The owner was nice and has taken much effort to try to make the hotel nicer. The theme is sort of "Old European" with hints of Paris and Greece. But the reality is that it is an old TravelLodge and there is only so much he can do. Pluses: Clean, roomy, 3 foot tall refrigerator in room, walking distance to the convention center, good price. Minuses: bed was very firm, no pool or spa, no food service on site, far from any services (like market, gas, etc.)

Decent hotel reasonably priced

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room, wonderful front office staff
Cons: Ventilation in bathroom and fix top steps on both flights of stairs
Location: Good location, close to restaurants, gas stations, and stores
We spent 2 nights at Atrium Inn because we were in town for a family reunion. It was easy to find and close to a lot of restaurants. We would stay here again.

While this would probably be considered a no frills hotel compared to others, I found it to be very quaint and comfortable. The staff was very nice and I thought the property was beautiful with all of the flowers. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was old and in need of updating.
