“An Exceptional Hotel”

We are a family of four and stayed here on the next to last evening of a college-hunting road trip. This hotel is exceptional in almost every way. It is well-designed, aesthetically pleasing, convenient, staffed by friendly people, and the pool is terrific and new poolside furniture decorates the area around it. The room was huge and well-appointed. The only problem we had - and it was easy to get over - was the extremely slow service at breakfast. We weren't sure we were going to make it for our appointment to Elon on time, because the line was so long and the service was quite slow. It took easily twenty - thirty minutes for them to bring us three yogurt parfaits and a scone. One gentleman there seemed new and could have been part of the problem; I had ordered two coffees from him earlier that morning to take up to the room while we showered and dressed, and he had to read some kind of instruction manual to see how to make them. Other than that, we highly, highly, highly recommend this hotel. If our son is accepted at Elon and decides to go, we know where we will stay and we will be happy to do so. And - if you stay here - you must eat at The Village Grill. I have travelled widely and I would put the meal I had on par with the best meals I have ever had - anywhere in the world. The shrimp and grits with andouille was fantastic, as was the key lime margarita I washed it down with, and the cheesecake I had for dessert. A real pro waitress also.

“Elon's Finest”

Excellent spot to stay when visiting Elon University. Convenient to the highway, shopping and the University, the hotel is in top condition and proves to be a home away from home for parents for the 4 year stay. Friendly management staff and quick adjacency to restaurants make this a no brainer when your looking for consistency, familiarity and comfort.

“Convenient to Elon”

In town for some events in Greensboro and Elon. Great hotel for both places. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Rooms were just renovated and comfortable.

“Diffently would stay again!”

The front clerk was very courteous and friendly. He made sure that my needs and comfort was his first priorty. It would be a better world if more people was like him. A very good price for the comfort and atmosphere we received. I would recommend this hotel to others. There is shopping and dinning all around. There is even a hospital close by in case of emergency.

“Great Stay for the Holidays!”

My family and I stayed here as we visited my relatives for the holidays. The hotel staff and room was EXCELLENT! My wife hates a hard mattress- these mattresses were soft and just wrapped around you as you laid down. This hotel was very clean.

We had a wonderful time at this motel It was very quiet. The only thing wrong with it was the bar was not big enough. And it was at the front of the lobby. near the check in desk for kids to see.

“Decent Value”

This was a typical Courtyard property that was close to our destination. Rooms were adequate and clean. Daily newspaper was a nice touch.

“Nice Hotel, Friendly Staff”

Although just your standard Courtyard by Marriott, this hotel had very friendly front desk staff who warmly welcomed us to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near Elon University.

Everything was fine except the AM breakfast buffet, which was reasonably priced, was cold -- no fresh scrambled eggs -- not much in the way of fresh fruit.
