“Roof over your head”
After dealing with the cigarette stench at the front doors and in the lobby we went up to our room. No upgrades since the 70's. Found cereal behind the furniture on the floor. On the bright side, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Toilet handle stuck, water filled all the time. DIRECTLY under final approach to the airport (a baseball popup could hit a plane) In the morning, hot water came and went at random. "Breakfast" was bagel or bread, Fruit Loops, Cheerios, or Oatmeal.
“Horable place”
They will give you an Iron but no ironing board. When you ask them how you should iron your cloths without an ironing board they tell you to iron it in the AC unit. Needless to say this was the worst place I have ever stayed. If we had not prepaid expedia we would have checked out and found a new place. I would not encourage anyone to stay there any amount of time no matter the price.
“Corn Bread”
we had a good time. the room was clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space. we had an overall peaceful stay. other then the constant drug dealers and rap music outside, and a couple of random calls at three in the morning from an individual looking for someone named cornbread, i would say we had a good affordable stay.
“Misery Inn”
The first room I was assigned to smelled like vomit. I requested a different room, and the air conditioner in the 2nd room sou nded like a jackhammer. I asked for a refund and was denied. I took my losses and went to the hotel next door, which was much better, even though it was in the same price range. I think Expedia should refund my money.
“Do not ever stay here!!”
I just wanted to begin by saying that I booked a 5 day hotel trip booked though expedia; and that I was extremely happy with all my other stays( so I am not a complainer.)This hotel was by far the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in!They changed my room 2 times and if I had not already prepaid at this hotel I would not have stayed there at all.I don't expect the Ritz's hotel, but I do expect the rooms to be clean. As it was, I had to buy cleaning products, and scrub the shower as well as the curtain as they had 1 inch of black colored mold on both sides of the curtain. There was what appeared to be chewing tobacco spit all over the wall of the room. Dried blood smeared on the side of the box-spring mattress as well as 4-5 cigarette holes in the bed spread. There was no bulbs in some of the lamps(was told maintenance was home for the night)The phone key pad and TV remote were broken, punched out.I switched rooms and this one was the better of the 2. I feel I should have been paid to stay the as I spent more than an hour cleaning. I'm sure this room is now the cleanest one they have!
“Only if you have to.”
Was only staying one night, the rate was good, and they offered airport shuttle. The hotel is next to a gentlemans club and loud at night. The hotel is old and no money has been spent on remodels or maintenance. The airport shuttle didn't start until 7:30, my flight left at 6:00am so I still had to arrange another ride. Keep looking for another hotel!
“Greensboro accomodations were great.”
dI will use Expedia for all future travel accomodations.
“Don't waste your time or money here!”
Very old, dank hotel. The entire lobby and rooms all smelled like smoke. The internet, which was supposed to be WiFi in each room, didn't work even after them resetting the routers. You have to request an iron for the room. The sink and bathtub were old with chips & cracks - just not a decent place at all! If it was refundable I would've left and paid more to stay elsewhere. I was just staying for one night so I sucked it up but wouldn't stay there again. They don't deserve your money, time or consideration. Pay the extra $10 and stay elsewhere...
“Everything was alright”
The price was good even though we were traveling on short notice. Close to everything and staff was helpful (even though the night desk clerk did not know where the local Walmart was located). For a moderately priced room we found it comfortable and clean and would recommend it.
“Not Impressed”
The room we were staying in had a busted sink, holes in the wall, a busted curtain -- it was overall disgustingly dirty and falling apart.
