A hidden gem
This cozy hotel has the feel of a family run inn. Our room was lovely; very clean & spacious. We happened to be in a room that I think would be wheelchair or Walker accessible. Even though the Inn is on a busy stretch of N Main, it was very quiet. Breakfast is included & it was just fine.

Wedding Night
We got a deluxe room with a balcony - it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here on our wedding night and it did not disappoint. The next morning I soaked in the tub and was completely relaxed before we left! We will definitely be going back!

JH Adams is a solid choice in High Point
JH Adams is always a solid hotel to stay while around downtown High Point. The two buildings are older/traditional and little bit of wear and tear on the moldings and other interior finishes. Rooms are spacious. It has a B&B feel but with private ensuites Staff is generally friendly although not the same spectacular level as when it was privately owned. (now owned by Wyndham) Breakfast and coffee gets shut down at 9am sharp....should stay open a bit longer IMO.

Beautiful Historic Hotel, clean and cozy
Beautiful historic hotel with unique rooms. Our room had a cute balcony, and was very clean. The staff are always so nice and we love eating in the restaurant.

Wedding noise made it impossible to sleep. Hotel is in need of an overall update. No Wi-Fi. Not worth the $220 per night - not close.

Cute place. I love historic homes and it has a bed and breakfast feel. It’s clean. I appreciate the touches in the room offering wine, water and soda. There’s only one place to eat which happens to be closed during our stay which is unfortunate. But it’s comfortable and the staff is friendly.

Amanda greeted us warmly and checked us in. The room was very comfy and clean. The biggest bathroom I've ever been in. Little things (to me) really mean a lot...mints and earplugs on the bed,knob by the shower to hang a towel,free water etc. There were a couple free drink too but that was ruined by the sour attitude of the bartender and night staff. The answer to "I'm sorry, this is not what I thought I ordered " is "oh,wow,let me get you something else". Otherwise 9 out of 10. Did I mention awesome shower?

We arrived and learned the bar and restaurant would be closed for a large event, some 150 people. The hotel claimed they had sent an email saying so, but none was received by me. Plus, we had been traveling for week, so a notice would not have helped. Further when after we ate elsewhere, we returned to a full parking lot, No spaces had been reserved for the hotel occupants. Of course, there was no credit given on our bill with a hotel that advertised a bar and restaurant no longer having it; and the lack of parking. The hotel simply ignored the complications they generated and failed to communicate well. My question now is: should we book this hotel again and maybe incur similar the issues?
