“Family Setting”

The managers of this hotel must have been live ins. They were very friendly, caring about our lives. We were there for a softball tournament and accomodations were very spacious. I expected a very small room, but not so! It would be nice to add hardboiled eggs to the breakfast for some protein. We were able to fill our cooler daily for the games. A pool would have been nice because it was extrememely hot while there. Overall, we were very happy with our experience there.

“Felt like home”

I really enjoyed my stay everyone was so nice , and the cleaning staff was great, I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Can't wait to go back”

Stayed at Microtel Inn And Suites Burlington for 3 days and loved it. Great location, clean room, great staff, etc. Would highly recommend Microtel Inn. Thanks for a great 3 days.

“very nice hotel”

we were pleased with the hotel it was clean, up to date and the check in staff was good. it is a simple hotel but we had everything we needed for a short stay. I particularly noted the comfortable beds and that the coffee in the lounge was good. breakfast offered was quite basic but fine.

“Floaters”

There was a floater in the toilet when we arrived. Had to go get toilet paper from the front desk , they hadn't left extra roll. Everything else appeared to be clean. The fire alarm went off at 3:30 am

“good stay for the money”

location was great as I just needed a place to stay for one night. Very convienant from the highway. the only downside was a dirty wash towel left over shower curtain. the breakfast was very simple but good.

“A very good value”

Don't be fooled by the "Micro" in the corporate name. Our room (which was a handicapped room) was very nice. Altho we didn't request a handicapped room, this was available and on the first floor. The room was equiped with a microwave, a small refrig. clock/radio hairdryer etc. In short it was very nice, and easy to find. Special note for those who may require handicapped facilities: Everything was wheelchair accessable and the bathtub/shower had a removeable bench which was low enough for easy transfer.

“Served its purpose”

Stayed here overnight before visiting Elon University with our son. Room was clean, breakfast was satisfying. Didn't too much at the hotel or surrounding area other than visit.

Hotel was very comfortable and very clean. Considering Microtel is a economy hotel, you don't expect much in amminities. The bed may not be the most plush and the walls are a bit thin, but thats kinda the point. The only issue with the room was the iron was broken and had to be replaced. There was one issue with the hotel service and that was the person that was attending the desk at night could have been a bit more friendly. A simple smile and a "Hello" goes a very long way. He must have missed that part of his training. In some ways he made me feel that I was taking him away from doing something more important when I made a request. (i.e. a new iron). Having hot waffels included with the contential breakfast was very nice. But it would have been helpful to have a can of non-stick spray there to keep the waffles from sticking to the iron. Had to use a few butter pats each time I made a waffle to coat the iron. The person at the desk said it was a non-stick waffle Iron and spray was not necessary. I beg to differ. If I find my self back in Burlington, I would have no problems staying at this hotel again.

“Good Value !”

Clean, comfortable, and economic ! Breakfast left a bit to be desired, and the walls between rooms are a bit thin, but otherwise a great value for a short stay .
