2:00am check-in = leave your I.D.with front desk?Posted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Took 30 min. 2 ck in @2:00am bc card holder (my mother whose name I typed in on reservation) was not present when her guest (whose name I also typed in on reservation) arrived to check in. Confirmation with reservation number + guest info + I.D. with SAME NAME did not surfice. Inevitably front desk clerk's questionable attitude resulted in allowing check in contingent upon holding I.D. during stay. Nothing like feeling absolutely untrustworthy upon check in. Bathroom "door" was the slide type that disappears into the wall when u open it. Good thing I wasn't there alone bc I couldn't open it >3in when I tried to exit. Needed more than muscle to force open. The bottom of mini fridge was coated w/sticky substance. Deeply gashed scribble swirl in the center of the headboard didn't create warm fuzzes either. After blatant mistrust at check in I was concerned we'd be blamed for furniture abuse! In the morning the new clerk was puzzled when we requested our I.D.'s @check out. Attempted to eat continental breakfast while waiting 4 I.D.'s,.... Waffles/no butter or syrup, biscuits/no gravy, no napkins, thank goodness I had a candy bar in my bag! Clerk finally located our I.D.'s finally & we left Feeling unrested, still hungry, and OVER IT 2 say the least. Quality Inn as a franchise needs 2 reevaluate current franchisees.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. As to protect both the card holder and our employees, we do not allow the credit card to be processed unless the card holder is present with a photo I.D. As an alternative the card holder may fill out a credit card authorization form that gives the hotel permission for the card to be charged if the card holder is not present. We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our hotel. The feedback you provided will help our entire staff to continue to grow towards exceeding the expectations of our guests. We hope that you consider staying with us again so that we have another chance to provide you with an exceptional experience.

Stayed in room 315. Lamps don't work. Ac sounded like 747. Hotel smelled like mothballs and good idea not to put a barking dog in the room next to the elevator. Poor thing didn't get any rest. It was too busy barking. Won't stay there again

Second year in a row at this hotelPosted Aug 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location.Location.Location. Right off the highway. Easy driving to Greensboro. Staff was professional and went out of their way. When "non-smoking" room they first gave us smelled of smoke, I called from the room and not only did they immediately find us a different room (expected) but someone came to us to make the exchange. They did not ask us to come back to the front desk. We stayed here last year and will do so again on the next road trip.

OK For The PricePosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay. Stayed in a non-smoking room and there was not one trace of smoke in the room which was very nice. Our hallway smelled like marijuana but at least our room didn't. The drink machine did not accept paper money but the front desk was helpful and exchanged quarters for me. Breakfast was varied and delicious! Much better than I was expecting. Did not get a chance to use the pool but it looked clean and well-maintained. Our room was clean, the bed fairly comfortable, and all of the appliances in the room worked!

ConvenientPosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were attending a wedding at Castle McCullough which is only minutes down the street from this hotel, so very convenient and easy to get too. The hotel was quiet, clean and basic, nothing fancy. We originally were placed in a non-smoking room on the 2nd floor, but that floor is partially smoking and the hall way smelled of smoke. It was over-powering, and we asked the front desk to move us to a fully non-smoking floor, which they did right away. We enjoyed the rest of our stay.
