“Oldie but Goodie - Great Pool”

Very friendly and helpful staff. Managed to find me a refridgerator for my dietary needs at the last minute. No elevator to second floor but gentle staircases up from front lobby. Appreciated little bottles of toiletries - don't like the built-in push ones. Old but very clean and carefully looked after. Hot buffet breakfast was fresh, delicious. Pool was perfect - could follow the sun all day long or take shade under an umbrella. Was advised to pick inside room for quiet - and it was. But noticed some balconies - and I might try one next time. We visit the area often, and this was the only choice on our dates. Would definitely choose again.

“Excellent value; complimentary full breakfast!”

We have stayed here twice. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Service was excellent. The complimentary breakfast is a full breakfast buffet--not just some sweet rolls, juice and coffee. We will probably stay here again if we travel in that direction.

“a fine place to stay”

I found the hotel to be well adequate for my stay. For an older facility, it was kept up nicely. I'd stay again.

“Gone to a funeral out of state during memorial w/e”

A three night stay over memorial day weekend was a very good experience. No complaints about room, staff, function, food, etc.. We (a family of 4) recomend it.

“Keep Out of the Bar”

Everything was very good except the bar (run by a concession probably). The bar was about the worst I have ever been in. I ordered three different drinks (common) and they did not have ingredients to make any of them. I ordered some snack food like peanuts and they did not have that either. (There is a good restaurant with bar right next door, thankfully.) On the other hand I was very impressed by the quality and service at the free breakfast. Great food choices. The woman who took care of us was outstanding in her attention.

“Needs Improvement”

Checking In was easy, butI could never get anyone to answer the phone at the front desk for a wake up call or anything else once I was in the room. Upon entering the room there was no info packet with the usual Dining, attraction etc. I did however find it when I went through every drawer to make sure my great niece had not stuffed any toys in them so I could pack for departure. The cleaning staff was excellent, I did not have to ask for anything it was already there.
