“Not many choices in Rushville”
The Rushville Comfort Inn is really the only player in town. Apparently it used to be a Holiday Inn Express. Actually the sign on the highway still says this!
Things are a little dated and show it's age. The price seemed slightly high for what you get. I could see light (from the hallway) around the frame of the door. Breakfast . . . well you're better off eating elsewhere if you want anything of any susistence. The HVAC was mediocre, like any of this era hotel. "Blow Hot" or "Blow Cold" not much in between.
We had a little snafu at check-in. The gal at the front desk was great and updated me to a "whirlpool" room for my troubles. it was quiet, and the bed was nice. Shower was above-par. Room was very clean and had dark, thick curtains.
All and all, not bad. If there were other choices in town I may look there, but I've stayed in worse places!
