It smelled bad and was dirty. We stayed for 3 nights and our room never got cleaned.

Pros: Room was fairly clean.
Nothing extraordinary nothing horrible. Free breakfast was a joke with frozen sausage and pancakes in a chaffing dish, (still frozen). Tables were dirty. Skipped our "free breakfast" for a restaurant down the street.

The hotel is run down and worn. It is in a depressed area and appears as if it is being used as government housing. Quite a few permanent residents. The highlight of this hotel is the staff. They are very pleasant and helpful.

The Bat

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Yes, we had a bat in the air vent! We immediately told the front desk, who quickly got us a different room. When I came back to talk about compensation of some sort, the lady at the desk said,"I checked for a bat and didn't see one. That must have been a knob you were looking at, it looked like a knob." Well, the vent was a flat screen screwed onto the ceiling-no knob! Didn't appreciate my integrity being challenged, only wish now I would have taken a picture!

Still fozen eggs and sausage for breakfast?

Posted May 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was just ok. Shower curtain had a little mold but the room was clean. The Breakfast was a BIG let down. Eggs and Sausage were left frozen in the buffet line with a note on top about preventing waste. How about a little effort and cook the food. No worries, a major fast food chain is right next door.

I'd Walk A Mile For an Elevator

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Accepted pets. Although I don't think they would have a problem if you wanted to bring in an American Bison.
Cons: Cleaner. Maybe some better parking facilities. Another elevator, or at least signs pointing the way to the lift they have.
Location: The ramps to the PA Pike are very conveniently located.
At least that's what it felt like. One tiny elevator stuck unmarked, in the middle of the hotel, off the main corridor on what amounted to the first -and-a-half story. That's right. The place is laid out on some kind of split level arrangement. Certainly not recommended for disabled or people with knee or back problems. Staff? OK. Will somebody teach young people today to make eye contact and say "Thank You" instead of "OK, have a good one." Not what I'd call sparkling housekeeping. There was (literally) a dead duck (mallard) rotting away outside the entrance by the sign. Good place for the fracking crews there on a per diem. And there were lots of them. Nice guys in huge duallies and pickups that filled the lot and driveway, tromping in and out in muddy boots. Easy on and off the highway. Which I was glad to get back on.

Days Inn Days

Posted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Quiet.
Cons: Plumbing fixtures and more channels on the television.
Location: Hotel was located close to restaurants and gas stations. Not much in the way of entertainment. The hotel did offer plenty of parking.
Check in day was about average as Hotels go. Opened room door and noticed it was not fancy but relatively clean. Bathroom tub faucet leaked but tub stopper worked well enough. Room came equipped with all the amenities but did not include an ice bucket. One feature that did surprise me was how quiet the hotel was. All in all an average stay.

Get what you pay for

It was a room with a free breakfast. Nothing exciting, yet not gross either. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again! It was just ok
