“Quality Inn New Stanton”

The hotel was clean and well maintained even though it was a little older. The only negative was the fact that they do not have an elevator. If you can't do stairs, don't stay here or get on the ground floor!

This was a dirty, filthy place. The room had what looked like pop and blood droplets splattered on the walls and there was mildew in the shower. The sink counter top was coming apart from the wall and there was a certain bodily fluid stain on the carpet and bed spread. The room hadn't been dusted in months, and it had no working phone. I never been so disgusted in my entire life. We complained and was given another room, which wasn't much better. When I asked for my money back they promised to make it right, if I came back in two or three hours. We did so (which was a huge inconvenience) and the third room was clean (enough) but I had a bad taste in my mouth the whole time I was there. The pool was empty, just a little pool of dirty water at the bottom and that was our view to the outside. The hotel has water damage throughout, the rooms all had a bad leaky roof repair job and my husband found a hornet's nest inside the stairwell of the building. This hotel needs a lot of major work, and they don't seem to care. This was not a "Quality" Inn.

“Unpleasant experience”

While the exterior of the hotel, itself seems to be in good repair, my room was a disaster! The carpets were so stained and soiled that I wore shoes at all times. There was extensive mold growing in the bathroom and I felt the need to place a clean towel in the tub when showering. I can not even thing about what might have been coming from the shower head. There was no attendant at breakfast, and the tables were sticky. No I wouldn't stay at this property again. Yes this may have been one of the worst hotel experiences of my life!

I've been in some pretty dodgy motels in my life, but this place has no equal! Shabby, run down, dirty. Bathtub stained, carpet dirty in every corner, had to bang on light fixture to get it to work, neither of two remotes functional, coffee maker dirty. Torn upholstery on easy chair. Looked as though hardly a dollar had been spent on the place in the last couple of decades. I will say that apart from the disgusting bathtub, the bathroom wasn't too horrible. Even the hallway was gloomy. Had a second stay booked for the following week, but immediately canceled and moved it to another nearby hotel.
