“Needed rest”

We stayed here for one night as we were exhausted on our return travels home. This hotel was exactly what I needed to rest. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast very good. Even had little containers of cottage cheese. It was also very quiet. There was a Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans very close. We swam in the pool, sat in the jacuzzi, and exercised in the morning. As a part of the Marriott chain, this hotel did not disappoint.

“Very understanding of personal circumstances”

The reason for our hotel stay was to attend a funeral service and the viewing at the funeral home the day beforehand. We checked in late, because we had gone straight from home to the funeral parlor for the viewing, and the hotel staff had everything ready for us upon arrival, including setting up the "pack and play" crib we had requested for our infant son. The day of the funeral, we asked for a late checkout, because the service was starting at 11:00 AM, and we wanted to come back afterwards and change into street clothes before heading home. The front desk had no qualms about granting our request. After the funeral, the family of the deceased had scheduled a luncheon, but it was approaching the 1:00 PM late checkout, so we were not going to participate. We called the hotel, and they were very generous in extending our checkout for a couple more hours, saying our family affair was more important.

“Great place to stay”

I would definitely stay here again. We had a suite because we had 3 in the room and the room was beautiful, very upscale and pleasing to the eye. The room was clean and spacious, with 2 flat screen TV's and a pull out sofa with fresh linens. We enjoyed having a fridge and coffeepot in the room too. The free breakfast was plentiful and there was also coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in the lobby throughout the day. The hot tub and pool were a welcome retreat. All in all a great place to stay.

Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and professional. It's located just off the turnpike, but the hotel room was very quiet. It's also located in an area where there are several good restaurants. We'll be staying here when we travel this way again.

Great stay. Clean & comfortable. Helpful staff. Pool & fitness room clean. Good breakfast. Great amenity of a small freezer section in the vending area where you could purchase a TV dinner to heat in your in-room microwave if you arrived late or just didn't want to go out.

“Wonderful Stay”

We loved the hotel !!! We were able to have a relaxed, clean room after spending the day in the sun at Idlewild Amusement park. Our daughter couldn't wait to get to the pool and splash around the next morning. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The environment was quiet and helpful for getting a well needed rest. Would stay there again. The cost was as advertised.

“"Beware Smokers"”

hotel is smoke free. This did not bother me until the clerk asked for a credit card upon checking in. I asked her why, and she replied "in case you smoke in your room or else where in the hotel" There is a 250.00 fine for smoking. My question is how am I after I checkout going to fight a fine if housekeeping says they found cig. butts or smelt smoke after I'm gone. I'm not there to fight their comments. Plus the hotel now has a record of my credit card and that makes me a little uncomfortable

“Wouldn't have stayed at full price”

This hotel is undergoing renovations and may be worthy of what it wishes to be afterward. The hallway was stinky, and the room was dingy. There were hairs on my pillow when I first walked in as though someone had just had a haircut. However, rooms of fellow conference attendees were nicer. Maybe the room I stayed in would have been next on the renovations list. In the meantime, Sheraton should perhaps pay less attention to chocolate fountains and in-room spa treatments and more attention to basic cleanliness.
