“Very Impressed”

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very helpful.

“Comfort Inn-Impressed”

I arrived into town very late and the front desk staff was incredibly nice, the room was nicer than I expected, very clean, more than comfortable bed and the bathtub had whirlpool jets. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

“It was nice”

When I arrived and checked in at the front desk, the clerk greeting was very warm and courteous. The room was nice and clean but the air conditioner switch had to be played with to get it work. Other than that everything was ok. I would stay again.

“Okay but not great”

Not the best hotel in Washington, NC but probably not the worst either. Some of the maintenance seems a little lacking (e.g., door frames) but a fair value for the price. The breakfast area is pretty obviously just what was once the lobby with a few things put on a corner counter.

“Nice stay”

Overall the stay was very nice. the people was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and fresh.

The hotel was decent, in general, but the breakfast was weak!

“What a difference a few years makes”

I'd expect all properties to show some wear, as this one did (we stayed here several years back). Not up on maintenance - as the door to the room I was put in would not shut (not just not lock). We were then put in a semi musty (and clearly dusty - on tv) room. We aren't hard to please and enjoyed 2 days there. I would recommend it, with caution and only to select (like minded) friend. Thanks.

“Too Costly for the quality & cleanliness”

On the edge of the not so good side of the tracks Pool open but gate locked due to no lifeguard during the day, 80 degrees out what's the point & would not allow us to sit around it or in the area , we had to sit in the parking lot in order to get some air without driving too far and staying within our schedule. Room cleanliness of poor standards for the cost And last but not least both beds in the room had bed bugs in which we had to pack up at 11:30 p.m & find another hotel in an oversold area due to a large event going on . Hotel night manager addressed initial issue of offering us another room but could not refund due to it being paid thru expedia. Manager disappeared and directed staff member to assist me with finding another hotel but he ultimately was inundated with other guests so we were left to fend for ourselves. We ended up at another Hotel closer to our event which was convenient but cost us much more on the spur of the moment. So overall not a good experience at all. This is my first time responding to a review ,I work in the service industry myself so I am more apt not to respond negatively to an issue as I am well familiar with customer expectations. This was really abit too much.
