Bad hotel in Greenville, TX

Pros: Location
Cons: Lighting, carpets, walls, parking lots, breakfast food, almost everything!
It is the worst hotel that I have stayed in past few years. Go somewhere else, its is old, dirty, poor beds, etc.

Where to begin? Our "Non-smoking" room? Reeked of smoke and even had an empty cigarette box underneath the TV stand. Registered for two guests, had to go to the front office to get more towels, room only had one set. TV remote was missing and buttons broken on tv. Free Wifi had next to no signal strength, was online for about 5 minutes before the signal went out. As mentioned before the room smelled of smoke, even the linens smelled, clearly they had been in there for awhile.

The room looked good. The heater was either on or off, it didn't have a thermostate. I made the coffee the first morning, but the coffee pot was not washed and I didn't get replacement coffee for the second morning. The sheets were all flat sheets for the King size bed which ment that the bottom sheet didn't say tucked in. I was pleased that there was a microwave, refrigerator and hair dryer. The room was on the corner and very quiet. My only problem was my parking place. I was blocked in due to the room that I was assigned. Thank god that the person that blocked me in was gone by morning, so I could get to work on time.

Our room was about the same condition as we have had before, filled with stale cigarette smoke. However there were more problems. There was absolutely no toilet paper or Kleenex. There was a rotten spot in the ceiling above the shower head, and we discovered several dead water bugs under the night stand. But across the street is a new Collin Street Bakery..delicious!

when we first got to the hotel, we asked if we could change our plans and have two beds instead of one, we had booked our room online and paid in advance while we were booking the room with two beds was the same price as the room with one bed, the person at the desk wanted to charge us an extra $30.00 for the extra bed. The next morning we went down to the lobby for the coplimentry breakfast and there was none, we were told that they do not do the breakfast because of street people! the room smelt like some one had lived in it with cats, our over all experiance was really bad, we have stayed in Days Inn Hotels before and have always had a very good stay. I will never go there again, poor Greenvill TX, The Moss Family

Ok, but don't think I'd stay again....

Pros: Accepted pets and 6 people in one room.
Cons: Cleaning and fixing inside and out.
Location: I was just passing thru- I have no idea what's near by.
I booked this hotel because it was available for our dog and could fit 6 people in one room. The outside of the hotel is very run down and the parking lot is full of garbage. The inside of the room was ok, there were burn holes in the sheets though and the shower tub hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Also, the bathroom door couldn't be fully shut. Other than that, the beds were comfortable and the tv was fine. If I didn't have a dog with me, I would have picked something a little more upscale for our family. FYI- Days Inn are franchised- some are nice, some are awful.

Nice for a one night stay, great location

Pros: Everything was clean, bed was comfy, great location.
Cons: I don't think there were really any problems that are fixable.
Location: Right off of I-30. iHop, Chili's, Walmart, Tamollys, and a cute little movie theater were all less than a 5 minute drive away.
We had a king size bed/non smoking room. We stayed for one night on our way back home from Galveston. It was a nice room for one night, though pretty small for any more than that. It was kinda cramped. But like I said, for a good nights sleep and a shower it wasn't bad. The entire room was clean, the shower was clean, the water hot, the mini fridge cold, the bed was comfortable. The only things I didn't like about it were 1. there weren't a lot of TV channels that worked. And 2. You could hear EVERYTHING going on outside the room. And the vent in the bathroom obviously went to the street in the back of the building because when you were in there you could hear dogs barking and cars driving by as if you were outside with them. But other than that everything was great. Didn't get a chance to use the microwave, and they had free breakfast but we went to iHop that morning so I don't know how it was. The hotel staff was friendly. It was a great location, right off I-30 and very easy to get to. iHop, Walmart, Tamolly's, Chili's, and several other places were literally like 2 minutes away.
