Location: location was great since having a reunion in Snowhill, and being near to other relatives located in kinston and trenton
very sizable room, nicely decorated. Loved the idea of having a sitting area with a full size sofa. Very personable staff, very friendly and attendative.

Nice location close to major sites of interest.Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: See above.
Location: We wanted to go to the Farmer and Chef to eat, which was just a few minutes away.,
We were in town for a funeral. The location of the hotel was easy to find coming out of Raleigh. Check in and out was very quick and simple. When we checked on sites and resturants we wanted to visit all were with in a couple of turns and 5 minutes from our room. The room was very clean, appeared to be recently painted and all appliances worked and appeared to be new. The Pool was not yet open and, although I can sleep thru anything, my wife is a bit of a light sleeper so I would recommend a room on the backside away from the Highway as she was awakened by police cars in the early AM...I slept thru their passage so no problem here. I was very pleasantly supprised by the free breakfast as it included sasuage and eggs along with the usual offerings. If we go back to Kinston, we will stay there again.

Loud road noise.Posted Mar 12, 2014
Cons: Sound proof rooms
Since Quality Inn was next door to Hampton Inn where rest of my family was staying, I opted to save $20 and stay at the Quality Inn. Even though I asked the clerk for a wakeup call, it never came. It wasn't a problem because the road noise woke me up anyway. Hampton was far superior in every way from what I saw. Worth the extra $20. Better breakfast, lobby and rooms.

Coffee!Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: See above.
Cons: See above.
Location: Visit local family.
Beds comfortable and no squeak. Fridge good, kept food nicely. Ok location but had an industrial area as the porch view. Night staff very friendly. Could have more fruit for the breakfast. Internet pretty good, but the motel was not full, so I do not know how it handles max traffic. AC loud at night. Coffee in the room a must for us, thanks! :-)

It will doPosted Jun 30, 2011
It's your basic roadside hotel. It hasn't seen any upgrades in a while. My television was old and had lost most of its picture. For some reason, it seemed like they went out of their way in the room to make the power outlets inaccessible. Bed was standard firm mattress.

Got what we paid forPosted Jun 27, 2010
The room was ok. We did ask for a non-smoking room and when we got there, they said they didn't have any. They also stated that someone would come down and spray the room to try and remove the smell, but they never did come.

Would think twicePosted Apr 7, 2010
This is an outside hotel with rooms opening onto the parking lot or outside walkways. My main concern was with checkout. I was in a hurry and could only get my receipt by going to the front desk. I drove up, went in and found no one available. There was a knock on the front window from a rather disheveled man who was smoking a cigarette. When I went outside, he said he would be in when he finished his cigarette. I left the "key's" on the desk and left to make my appointment.
