Near Lenoir CC

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Only the price.
Cons: Less noise, better breakfast, better control of illegal smokers.
Location: Near Lenoir Community College. A few miles from down-town Kinston.
The Good- room had good tv, wifi, minifridge; close to Lenoir college The Bad- Many big trucks starting up at o-dark-thirty. Breakfast is marginal at best. The Ugly- Smoke leaching through neighboring bathroom into my "non-smoking" room.

Great room for the price!

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: The value for the price.
Cons: Lighting over the sink.
Room was clean and comfortable, traffic noise at night can be annoying, but a pair of earplugs took care of that. I will stay there again.

Well definitely stay again!

Miranda at the front desk was awesome! We were able to upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi tub, and when our key card reader wouldn't work she got maintenance on it right away! It was a comfortable stay and the room was clean, comfortable and BIG!

Happy Birthday Visit with Grandson

Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: Fantastic staff
Cons: No suggestions
Location: We visit with family - a growing family - with no room for extra sleepers. LOL
Having family in Kinston, it is important that we find a hotel where we can feel comfortable. The Kinston Quality Inn met all of the requirements of our stay. It was comfortable, clean, quiet, convenient location and friendly - honest staff. We travel a great deal and don't always find places this clean and accomodating. We felt comfortable leaving the room very early in the morning or coming in late at night. We have 3 grandchildren living in Kinston so we go there often. This was our second stay at this hotel. Both visits exceeded our expectations. The hotel is an older building but very well maintained. I give it a 5-star for an older building. See you again Kinston Quality Inn.

Pros: convenience
Cons: nothing
Location: location was great since having a reunion in Snowhill, and being near to other relatives located in kinston and trenton
very sizable room, nicely decorated. Loved the idea of having a sitting area with a full size sofa. Very personable staff, very friendly and attendative.

Nice location close to major sites of interest.

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: See above.
Location: We wanted to go to the Farmer and Chef to eat, which was just a few minutes away.,
We were in town for a funeral. The location of the hotel was easy to find coming out of Raleigh. Check in and out was very quick and simple. When we checked on sites and resturants we wanted to visit all were with in a couple of turns and 5 minutes from our room. The room was very clean, appeared to be recently painted and all appliances worked and appeared to be new. The Pool was not yet open and, although I can sleep thru anything, my wife is a bit of a light sleeper so I would recommend a room on the backside away from the Highway as she was awakened by police cars in the early AM...I slept thru their passage so no problem here. I was very pleasantly supprised by the free breakfast as it included sasuage and eggs along with the usual offerings. If we go back to Kinston, we will stay there again.

Loud road noise.

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Price
Cons: Sound proof rooms
Since Quality Inn was next door to Hampton Inn where rest of my family was staying, I opted to save $20 and stay at the Quality Inn. Even though I asked the clerk for a wakeup call, it never came. It wasn't a problem because the road noise woke me up anyway. Hampton was far superior in every way from what I saw. Worth the extra $20. Better breakfast, lobby and rooms.

Coffee!

Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: See above.
Cons: See above.
Location: Visit local family.
Beds comfortable and no squeak. Fridge good, kept food nicely. Ok location but had an industrial area as the porch view. Night staff very friendly. Could have more fruit for the breakfast. Internet pretty good, but the motel was not full, so I do not know how it handles max traffic. AC loud at night. Coffee in the room a must for us, thanks! :-)
