The whole property was dingy and just in a general state of disrepair. It also is right on the main road in town and my room was facing the road so I heard traffic noises all night. Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, but I wouldn’t go back.

Hotel in need of total overhaul
The outside of the location needs to cleaned up, painting, landscaping, and lighting. When I walked to the front door to check in, I was hit by this strong scent of marijuana emitting from the lobby area. This scent could be smelled throughout the first, and second floors of the building for my two day stay. The hallways on both floors were dimly light, and the carpet needs replacing. The room itself was clean but the furniture, carpet, etc. needs to be replaced.

First and foremost the place had roaches. The guy at the desk sounded shocked to hear but didn't offer a refund. The mattress was stiff and the toilet seat was brocken. All in all a bad experience. Never will I stay at a SUPER 8 again

This was not a very good stay. The options in Indianola are very limited. The Hampton was sold out. This hotel needs A LOT of work. It needs upgraded from the outside to the inside of the hotel.

Family Reunion
Presentation is everything!!! When I pulled up to the hotel, blinds were torn down in one window and a big card board covered another window. I went in and asked the front desk if the windows were covered and she assured me that curtains were in the room and that was true. However, the hotel itself just did not look or smell that clean. Bed covers were torn and damaged carpet smelled old. Just not appealing at all. I wanted to back out but was too late at that time. Now I will say that the front desk clerk was really nice and the bed did not sleep too bad. But as I said, presentation and cleanliness is so important when it comes to hotels. Fixed repairs, like blinds or curtains, and bed linen. Also, steam clean the carpet and deodorize the place.

This is an older hotel. There was a musty odor in at the reception desk. Our fridge had a wet towel inside and we were unable to use it. The room was also muggy. The water pressure in our sink was very low. The staff was friendly though.

No elevator, hotel smells awful due to smoking rooms, room was not clean, AC was left off and room was hot and sticky. Breakfast is cereal and toast. For nearly $100 bucks I expected a lot more.

The staff was very helpful. Hotel was clean, in good shape and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast waffles were awesome! Only bad thing I can say are both beyond owners control. Electrician to repair exterior lights and water is tinged with mud, likely from recent flooding. Would stay here again.
