Not quite...Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: The staff was great, and they need new jobs at a different facility worthy of them.
what I was expecting. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly. But, the facility was sub-par. I was placed in a SMOKING and HANDICAPPED room. It felt 'grimey'. Smelled - not of 'smoke', but of some kind of extreme deodorized intended to mask the smoke. I left the next morning with irritated eyes, and a cough. There were nicer, newer accommodations with in a few feet of this location. Wish I'd known about them....

Good for a night's stop.Posted Oct 12, 2013
Location: Not much but a couple restaurants and some gas stations as far as we could tell.
We left a day early for vacation and stopped here for the night instead of driving straight to the beach. It was a nice place to stop for one night. The room was clean, the pool looked okay but we didn't want to unpack everything to get to the swimsuits.

Older hotel compared to other Days Inn.Posted Aug 30, 2013
Pros: Price and access to Interstate 26 in Spartanburg
Location: There are a couple other hotels nearby, gas station and a McDonalds.
This visit to the Days Inn was only to sleep for 1 night on our way to Myrtle Beach. The room was clean and served the purpose for the 12 hours we stayed. This is not a place I would stay at for pleasure or for an extended amount of time. Some of the people staying there were shady and creepy but those types of people are everywhere. The hotel was in decent condition but seemed to be an older facility. I made the reservation based solely on price and since it was just an overnight stay for approx 12 hours I feel it was worth it.

Clean, comfortable, welcomingPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and convenient to the interstate. The value was great. I was traveling solo (a female) with 2 dogs, and they put me on the ground floor (convenient for walking my dogs) and close to the lobby (safe for me as a female traveler).

Old soon to be NewPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The staff was very accommodating
Cons: An old hotel needs some NEW
Location: The locations was excellent it was a two minute walk from where I needed to be.
we have to remember that this is an old hotel. they are renovating the hotel a room at a time. our room was not one of the new ones and it is hard to keep an old room looking new. I believe the staff cleaned everyday and I have booked rooms for the same time next year.

close to the main highway/ cleanliness of roomPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was OK, but the breakfast is not so good, they never had any decaf coffee when I went down, and out of other items. The desk clerk said I will get coffee made, but I had to leave and go buy breakfast elsewhere.

If you need a basic room and bathroom, it's good.Posted Jul 5, 2013
Cons: Updating of room.
Location: At exit #17 in upstate SC. Easy on and off from freeway. Shopping area is a few miles south.
Stayed here last week of June. Easy on-off of freeway at exit #17. Cheap gas nearby. Room is motel style with two levels of rooms with units back to back. Have to go outside to get to lobby. Very basic room, cleanliness OK. Free WI-FI was good; no trouble getting on. Free breakfast was very basic. Apples, bananas, muffins, cold cereal and milk, coffee and juice. Staff was friendly; we needed to find a department store and clerk advised us where to find one nearby (a few exits south--possibly exit #22). We chose this location for it's location halfway between our starting and ending point and easy on/off from freeway.

Probably won't stay againPosted Jun 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
3 night stay. I don't mind older hotels but this one could use some TLC. Room was musty, likely from fact that bath vent fan didn't work. No way to get shower steam out. 2of us had minor allergy reactions I presume from mold. Wasn't filthy but needed cleaner bathroom and floors. Capet should be replaced. I used wipes to clean some area dirty areas from walls and door frames. Sheets and towels were clean.
