Good choice if on a budgetPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Convenience to downtown Greenville, shopping and price.
Cons: Breakfast options and fumigate old smoking rooms
Location: Definitely visit downtown Greenville for food, music, and Falls Park on the Reedy. Visit the BMW museum in Greer which is about a 20 min drive.
Overall it was a good experience and very convenient to downtown Greenville which is about a 5 minute drive. Be aware that it is a pet friendly hotel which is more conducive for those who like dogs or traveling with dogs. I think the room that we stayed in use to be a smoking room as I am sensitive to smoke odor even if the room has been smoke free for a while. The beds were not as comfortable as the other hotels we've stayed but the fact that the hotel and room was clean and the staff was friendly made it satisfactory.

Great Hotel in Convenient LocationPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Pool/Jacuzzi for the kids. Convenient location.
Cons: More public use computers for internet access. Only one available in the lobby.
Location: Haywood Mall, Woodruff road shopping/restaurants/movie theaters, downtown shops/restaurants/ Falls Park downtown
This is a very nice LaQuinta in a convenient area of Greenville off of Haywood Road and Pelham. Close to the Haywood Mall and all of Woodruff Road shopping. Right off of I-385 which is a short drive from downtown. Great pool with jacuzzi. Baths are a good size and updated. Greenville is my hometown and we will always stay here when visiting. Reasonable price too.

Good locationPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Room was good size, larger than usual hotel room. Wireless good.
Cons: Sound proofing could be added. Better door too bathroom. Fan in bathroom.
Location: Close to mall.
We had a leave the hotel after one night. Planned to stay two nights. Hotel itself was fine. A little bare bones but clean. There was a large group(2 tour buses)staying in the hotel that made for a very challenging night. Guests were running wild after 11pm. They were acting as if it was their private hotel. Loud music coming from the room directly next store starting before 7 am and still blasting when we left at 10am. We complained and asked to be moved and they said it would be the same wherever they put us. So we left.

Near hospital for surgeryPosted Jul 12, 2014
I stayed over night Thursday because I had an early Friday morning surgery and live almost 2 hours away from the hospital. The room was perfect, the staff was great, the location was also awesome (only 4 minutes from the hospital). I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Very comfortable hotel.Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Great rooms and facilities.
Cons: Not a fan of pets in hotels, but this place was very clean. The breakfast was the bare minimum with coffee and waffles and some fruit.
Location: Easy access to Greenville and surrounding parks.
Nice hotel with easy access to everything. The room was great with plenty of space and the bed comfortable. We did not realize that dogs were allowed, but it was extremely clean and not a problem.

Great stayPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and La Quinta Inn was in a great location among other hotels. I enjoyed having a mini fridge and microwave. The breakfast items available were fresh and tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay for a weekend tripPosted Jun 17, 2014
Location: Nearby is the zoo, planetarium, shopping/mall, tons of places to eat, great parks and downtown area
We only stayed overnight and did not check in until almost 10pm and left around 10am. We did not try the breakfast served, very crowded, seemed to have typical hotel breakfast items. Coffee was not good which made our decision to eat breakfast out an easy one. Location is great, across from the mall, one exit down from tons of other shopping and tons of places to eat. Hotel also close to zoo and downtown area (about 5 minute drive). Staff was very nice. Hotel was clean, room was huge but beds seemed small. Greenville was a surprising pleasant trip. Zoo was small but very nice. There is a great park right outside of the zoo which has a covered area for the hotter days. Greenville has a terrific downtown area which has a ton of options to eat and shop. Hotel is close to it all (driving distance).
