“Great place to stay.”
Phoenix Greenville Inn is a comfortable and beautiful place and is located close to I-85 and Loop 385. The price is reasonable and the service is wonderful. The staff, both waitstaff and front desk, are friendly and anxious to help. They provide a delicious full breakfast each morning and I was even able to borrow their computer to check my emails. I will stay with Phoenix Greenville Inn whenever I travel to Greenville. I highly recommend this inn.
“Hidden gem in Greenville!”
I recently stayed at the Phoenix Inn on business. Loved it! The hotel has such a true Southern charm to it...not like the big chains. I would highly recommend the Phoenix Inn to anyone staying in Greenville or surrounding areas!!
“Great older property hotel”
This place has been around for many years and though the bath has not been upgraded, the overall quality was above average. A non smoking room that had no scent to it - not smoke nor the cover up fragrances. The bed provided good support and the pillows were on the new side - they still had their shape! Breakfast was as I'd read on TripAdvisor....not microwaved - prepared in their kitchen - eggs, grits, gravy, biscuits, sausage, bacon, hash browns, fruit and cereal. Great selection and good flavors! I'd definitely stay again.
“The pictures don't do it justice!”
Nice, comfortable place to stay. Staff was very gracious and answered all of our questions. We went for the Bob Seger concert (even though it was postponed), the staff made us feel like they wanted us there! Clean, comfy room. Breakfast was great! One of our lamps was missing a light bulb and was immediately replaced! Only suggestion would be to add a plastic channel guide to the room. We had a hard time finding the news channel. The next time we go to Greenville, we will definately be staying here!
“Would certainly stay again”
I was quite impressed with the condition of the Phoenix Inn. It has been around for many years and I had never stayed there until Friday night. The staff was very friendly and even though I submitted my request for a smoking room, Expedia managed to put me in non-smoking. When I verified my room was smoking at check-in they said it was not and quickly changed my room with a sincere apology for the mistake made by Expedia. I rated the condition of the Inn as a 3 but only because there are some minor updates that could be made to the room I stayed in. Nothing that would keep me from coming back, however. I stayed in the king bed room. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Considering this place has been around since 1971 I think it's in great shape!
“Charmingly well priced and close to downtown”
The Phoenix had a lot of charm! Less expensive than the downtown hotels but just one exit away... it was an easy drive to the Bi-Lo center for us and we all thought the interior courtyard was lovely. The complimentary breakfast was also a plus... eggs, bacon and more..a real breakfast! We would definitely go there again.
“Good mid-range spot in Greenville”
Great breakfast with good service. Very quiet for room size. Well maintained for its age.
“Review”
Nice hotel, very near to the TD center. I recommend it very much.
“Greenville, SC is a great weekend getaway!”
We were in Greenville, SC for a family wedding. We were certainly impressed with the price and the condition of the hotel. Also included was a hot breakfast.
“one nighter”
I needed a quiet place to stay and study for a test the next day. I have a 2 year old at home. It was a very quiet place. The lobby was very nice. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel/inn is an older place (1970's), but has been kept up nicely. Fresh paint inside and out. Clean rooms. Some of the furniture was dated, but still usable and in good condition. Had a breakfast buffet: fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, shredded hash browns, and cold cereal. This was included in the price of my room. The room was a $69/night for a standard queen room. It does back up to the small downtown airport. This airport only has small personal aircraft. During my night's stay I only heard on plane coming in. The bed was comfortable and clean. Would stay again. Good for short stays or a week long stay if needed.
