For the price, you simply can't beat this hotel. The pool are was neat and clean, the room cleanliness was quite good. I have to say the staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, recommending restaurants in the area and giving driving directions. We were there over the Labor Day weekend, and the hotel was full of Clemson fans on Friday, Saturday and Sunday but the rooms were quiet. We stayed in the very back building. It may be noisier closer to the highway. I would recommend sleeping masks, the outside lighting is a bit bright.

Average exterior, however rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Room had refridgerator and microwave. FULL breakfast in the morning and cookies and popcorn in the afternoon.complimentary Wall Street Journal. These perks were not expected Considering the price we paid.

Booked hotel for Clemson's move-in weekend. Located a short 20 minute drive from University. Only complaint - beware of trains at night.

“Forgot to clean the toilet!!”

Cheap. Located close to our activities. Front desk employee was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, the room was not good. It smelled bad (old cigarette smoke perhaps?) and the toilet was not cleaned before our arrival nor during our stay and had urine on the seat.
