Office locked when I arrived. Terrible looking place and no way to see where to turn in. Since I could not even check in I did not stay. Terrible looking place. Need a refund!

Roach motel

Posted Apr 11, 2015
I actually complained about the bugs and they gave me a bug free room after I told them I wanted my money back. The room they gave me was better but no remote and the frig leaked water all over the floor. I will probably not go back there.

Pros: the man at the desk was very helpful and nice
Cons: the room needs repairs
Location: except for the hotel being not being hide from the road it is in a good location
the bed was too hard, the people upstairs walked the floor until after 1am, the heat would not turn off and about cooked us.

The room wasn't all that bad, clean, smelled nice...the overall hotel though was a little rough around the edges and I didn't feel particularly safe.

Not a place I will return to

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: The man at the front desk was friendly when I checked in and the lady at the desk was friendly when I checked out.
Cons: Cleanliness, security, someone at the front desk for more hours.
Location: It is close to Bob Jones University
At first I could not find it because it is set off the road and the sign is very small. The first room I looked at stank like wet dog and dog food. The second one smelled bad and the 3rd was tolerable. There were open trash cans that smelled like rotting food and the stairways smelled like urine. There was a man in his boxer shorts smoking outside his room. Other men were hanging around in just shorts. I locked myself out of my room only to find that the office closed at nine and I had no phone. There was a sign stating that you could call a security guard for a $20 fee. I asked a lady to borrow her phone but it was dead. There were several men just hanging around and I asked to borrow a cell but was told I could use their room phone. No thanks. The desk clerk had not left and showed up. He called for me but did not offer to open the office to make another key for me. I passed a door that had been bashed in and then locked with a padlock on my way back to my room. As a woman alone I did not feel safe there. Needless to say I checked out the next day.
