“Great hotel”

Stay here once a month usually. good breakfast each morning. Restaurant next door if you want one.

The hotel was very clean. The service was very helpful and responded to all of my questions and needs. I would return.

This hotel was clean, inexpensive, and the staff very accomodating. I stayed for a few days on business and would definitely choose this location again.

We were in town to attend a 50 year wedding aniversary and the hotel was an ideal location to downtown. The hotel was clean, comfordable and well maintained. The room was quite large and well appointed.

“Smoking Rooms Stink”

The hotel was well located near the expressway and had a reasonably nice outdoor pool (chlorine, not the horrible bromine, thank goodness). Unfortunately, the staff was sloppy in their room assignment and not attentive to our verbal request for confirmation of a non-smoking room and we were assigned to a smoking room in error. We were not in the room much until bed time, so even though we could smell the stench, we assumed it was because of a previous visitor and didn't realize we were stuck in a smoking room until it was too late in the evening to bother. Other than the lousy room assignment, the hotel was decently priced and reasonably comfortable. Just make sure you get what you ask for during check-in and validate it if necessary. The lower floor is non-smoking, the upper floor is smoking. Pay close attention to that during check-in to make sure you get what you want.

“Good value and was a great location for what we were doing”

Overall the people were very friendly. The room was a little dark. We used it as a central location for day trips.

“A decent place to stay”

The only complaint I have is that the previous traveler left his boxers hanging on the bathroom door knob---and housekeeping neglected to catch that. It was an easy oversight---I removed the boxers with a clean towel, disposed, got some of the housekeeping staff's cleaner and gloves...and cleaned the bathroom again to make sure things were to MY satisfaction. Other than that-the stay was EXCELLENT--great continental breakfast, coffee---room had all the comforts. I would go back to this location again.
