“"The Best Bed Bugs in Town"”
Initially, I was not happy to find out that the bathroom sink did not drain; I mentioned this to the front desk, to no avail. If only I had known that this would be a small, unimportant detail compared to all that I found in this tiny, tiny room. After fighting with a remote control that had batteries taped into their slot, and viewing a very small oddly colored television, I managed to head off to sleep. Upon waking up at midnight, I turned on the light to find my bed completely convered in bed bugs. I called the front desk and they offered to move me to another room. No one helped me move to the first floor from the third floor (oh, and did I mention that i was sick during this trip?). After one night of begin "bug free", the bugs returned to this "new" room and I found it very hard to sleep. The mattresses were very old and hard; the sheets were paper-thin, the floor had nasty, large stains that I could only guess what it was. The front desk clerks were not friendly and expressed no remorse for my horrible stay. The hotel staff watched a lot of TV while on duty and were more interested in their personal visitors than the hotel guests. I expected the manager on duty to "make it right" and give some compensation for all that went wrong on this visit to this less-than-par hotel. Never, ever stay here, unless you like bugs.
