This hotel is fantastic, I spend a lot of time in the Bahamas, but when I'm on Eleuthera The Cove is going to be my place

best hotel everPosted Aug 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at 5 star, 7 star hotels all over the world. But this one is the ultimate best. 2 cove beaches with amazingly turquoise waters, fabulous Infiniti pool, contemporary rooms and unmatched service. There were all sorts of amenities for water activities, bicycles to ride to the town. The view from the lounge and the restaurant was breathaking. The owner Sidney even carrier out beach bags. Hands down the best hotel ever in an out of the world location.

Stay in least expensive roomPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Great rooms
Cons: Level of service
Location: Go on Friday to BBQ in JC. Rainbow inn on Monday for wood fired pizza. Twin brothers for lunch.
We stayed in a ocean suite for 7 nights The construction crew and guest would walk right in front of our cottage requiring us to close the curtains to give us privacy. Once the curtains are closed you could be in any room as they all have the same furniture. So it sounds cool for the view of the water but save your money as the curtains have to be closed. The staff is great at fixing mistakes but as a guest mistakes should not happen so expect mistakes at the cove.

Fantastic hotelPosted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Cove was a fantastic hotel and a lovely end to a two week holiday touring round the Bahamas. The Ocean View rooms are beautiful, among the nicest I have ever stayed in and the hotel is very chic, all white linen and stripped wood decking. The staff are very professional and the owner Sidney is round checking all is up to scratch. all in all a great stay and I would highly recommend the hotel. If time do take a day's trip to Harbour Island but dont bother staying there, the Cove is the best place to stay in the whole of Eleuthera and Harbour Island!

A perfect Caribbean GetawayPosted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: landscape, beaches
Cons: Restaurant - food quality and variety
Location: Gregory town, Glass window bridges, Queens bath are all attractions very close to The Cove that deserve a visit.
This resort is simply beautiful and you will enjoy the sound of the waves, wind and silent. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is it! Staff is friendly and will take care of you all day long. There are two white beaches, with calm, crystal water and one pool with a gorgeous view at the sunset. The resort offers two bars (one indoor and one on the cliff with sea view) and a restaurant. We regret to say that we were not impressed by the food. It was a small selection with medium/poor quality, overall overpriced. We spent 5 days there and the menu did not change any item during our stay in the first 3 consecutive nights. We were aspecting more local dishes and fish. Waiters (particularly females) could be more time efficient when attending the customers. Our room was cute and very essential. Get the suites if you are expecting to have a real closet and drawers. We had the opportunity to discover the area around The Cove by bike and car. The island is quite, wild and gives you a truly Bahamian taste. The place is perfect for couples and family, definitely not a spot for singles. Mr Sidney is consistently on the grounds to coordinate and complete the construction work and I am sure that when everything will be done, the place will look even better. They are planning to add a bakery for daily fresh production and a burgher bar.

If you want to relax and enjoy nature's beauty....Posted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: Relaxing private beaches and infinity pool and the willingness of the owner and staff to look for ways to continuously improve the property
Cons: Improved restaurant and poolside service. Rental cars on property for short-term use. Access to things to do on property
Location: didn't leave the property
The property is still under construction and renovation but we had a very relaxing stay and thoroughly enjoyed our escape from reality. The beaches are wonderful. Love the marble showers and floors. All was good from the bedding to the gorgeous view of the ocean!

Never wanted to leave...Posted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: The staff was friendly, fun to talk with and focused, the food was delicious and the property was clean and well maintained
Location: We stayed on property the entire vacation. The location and beauty of the hotel were enough to keep us from venturing out.
Let me start by describing The Cove as a vision of tranquility, beauty and peace. From the moment the gate opened inviting us to experience what lied at the end of the long tree lined driveway, to the gazebo that welcomed us to the next experience, we wondered what could be ahead. As we ventured along the path to the reception building, the views of the blue water of the two coves were so inviting. To add to the beauty of the sea, the landscaping was perfection and is a testament to the passion of the owner Sidney Torres.

The Cove - Eleuthera's new goto resortPosted Jun 29, 2013
Pros: - elegant style, stunning architecture inside and out - high quality feel - breathtaking views - beautiful water/beaches - very friendly staff
Cons: Many of the service staff are new in their roles and are still learning on the job (to read their guests minds :-)).
Location: Secluded resort, 20min by taxi from the ELH airport There are: Public beaches 1mile long underground cavern Scuba Diving tours off Harbor Island
My wife and I had the most amazing 7-day vacation at The Cove from June 20-26th. We were looking for a luxurious resort, somewhat secluded in a beautiful setting off the beaten track. We found The Cove and never looked back. We stayed in a Bush View room - their entry level accomodation - and were very happy with it. Everything about this resort is upscale. From the moment you enter through the 24h guarded gate you'll experience the most amazing service in a contemporary style resort that was recently remodeled. All materials and accessories are of high quality and very pleasing to the touch and eye. It's an architectural gem. Services included with the room are twice a day house keeping and real high speed internet in the rooms. The senior staff is very friendly and accomodating. The resort provides snorkeling gear, kayaks (single and doubles) and bycicles at no charge. The Cove also hosts an upscale restaurant that provides good to excellent food though choices can appear limited after having eaten there lunch and dinner almost every day. Prices for plates are what you would expect for an upscale restaurant in a larger city. There's no low price food option on the property. We frequently took advantage of their excellent room service at a small extra charge. Hamoks and Couches spread around the property and invite you to enjoy the tranquil moments of your vacation. Breakfast and evening drinks can be enjoyed at the bar with great views. We'll be back!

Perfect ParadisePosted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: Attentive and friendly service, impeccable beaches and grounds, and a clean minimal style."
Cons: While excellent, the food is a bit overpriced. The music selection could also be improved upon; it didn't match the hip, modern style of the hotel.
Location: Two pristine beaches. What more could one ask for?
Two pristine private beaches, a meticulously manicured landscape, and and attentive and genial staff made our holiday here perfect.
