Pros: The beds are unreal. So zen.
Brought a new couple - they LOVED it! We've been to The Cove three times - staff is always incredible, friendly, accommodating, chat if you want, don't if you don't. Can move at your own pace, live it up or eat completely clean, work out & rejuvinate. The Cove is a haven.

Pros: What I liked most about the hotel was how professional and nice were the manager and all the staff, asíde from the excellent location and design.
Cons: The only thing that I missed was a few bahamian typical dishes on the menu.
Great hotel, manager and staff, plus great location and area

Hotel Gangnam Style

Posted May 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
It is a nice, quiet luxury retreat. Great views of the Atlantic. Unfortunately, it rained the entire two days that I stayed, so I didn't have very good Eleuthera experience. The hotel is very far from Governor's Harbour which is where my friends were staying and transportation is very expensive. I would recommend the Cove and Eleuthera to couples, but not to singles. Not much action available. The hotel is very close to the Glass Window Bridge which is great for photos.

Paradise with a Few Glitches

Posted May 23, 2014
Pros: Ambience, staff, service and food.
Cons: See above.
Location: Absolutely nothing!
A well groomed, idyllic spot in paradise with a few area that could use improvement. The room refrigerator is not stocked and there is no nearby store. Even an over priced honor bar would be an improvement. An in room expresso machine with not even starter pods for the first morning. Wash rags apparently at a premium. Otherwise a wonderful spot to relax and recoup from the outside world. The owner, Sidney Torres IV, has accomplished his goal of a Zen like experience.

Beautiful Setting with Pristine Beach and Ocean

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: The "I can make that happen" philosophy of the management and staff. The beaches and grounds were beautiful, watching sunsets from the cliffs.
Cons: The menu could rotate a bit more and the pricing is a little high. Missed not having coffee available in the room before the restaurant opened.
Location: Day trip to Harbor Island and Spanish Wells is fun. We also went to Rock Sound where we had lunch at the Northside Restaurant, which is Rosie's home.
The re-invention of The Cove a year ago has left this area a breathtaking scene out of a movie. The entire property leaves you feeling you are the only two people there. The grounds are covered with coconut palms which are lit up at night. Great snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking included. The restaurant seemed a bit pricey, meals at night were 35.00-54.00. However, the staff is the most accommodating group of people we have experienced in all our travels throughout the Caribbean. Was disappointed there was a Nespresso machine and a refridgerator in the room, but both were empty and the coffee pods were 3.00 each if you wanted to use the Nespresso. Chef Gustavo prepared a signature dish for us (6 of us) the last night we were there that was a delight. The rooms are nicely done, but no place to sit except on the bed if you order room service. A great retreat from every day life! VERY Romantic.....met great people from UK and US also.

The only bad thing to say about the Cove is that every place you stay at from now on will be disappointing by comparison.

Amazing resort

Was quiet and intimate. Very romantic. Only wish they had a beach bar or a bar that was open later than 10 pm. Otherwise was amazing!!!
