Quite impressed by a smaller hotel, excellent staff ,friendly and very helpfull.Kept the island feel with all the modern touches.Reception need updating.LOVVVVE the beach, quite private.Need a car due to the long walk out to the main road or use a taxi but can be expensive if staying for more than three days.5 stars

“Great spot, friendly staff - loved the Kalinago!”

We booked our stay here after we read some great reviews on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. We stayed for three nights, and I've never met a friendlier staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even invited one of my friends, a student in Grenada, back to use the pool for free. Rooms were lovely with views right out on the beach. The swim-up bar was a lot of fun, and the restaurant had delicious food - great since you won't feel like leaving the resort much since it's so nice! If you're there on a Monday night, you won't want to miss the meet-and-greet with the resort manager where you can get the scoop about the island over free snacks and cocktails. My only very tiny complaint was that the beds were a little uncomfortable, but that wouldn't keep me from going back. Five stars!

“Relaxing Trip!”

We enjoyed our stay at Kalinago Beach Resort. All rooms face the water! It is a nice quiet beach and the water is calm. It is a close walk to the supermarket for food. Do not be afraid of walking up the hill and down to get places, it is not bad at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful and our rooms were cleaned everyday. If you have children, this may not be the place for you since there is little for them to do. The cocktails are wonderful!

“We were very impressed, will visit again, We loved the intimacy and privacy of the beach, Great!!!”

The Resort was excellent , the staff was very courteous, always willing to help, exemplified customer service at its best, in particular, the restaurant staff. The tour was great ,loved what we saw and ate while on the tour. We loved the national dishes, The beach experience was excellent ,loved the idea of walking onto the beach from the hotel room, intimate and very welcoming. It provided an opportunity for total relaxation, the sunsets were great as well as the walks on the beach early in the morning. The room was spacious and we loved the furniture. Five Star experience Keep up the excellent service.Overall, five stars to a first class beach resort experience .

“An oasis near the airport but on the beach!”

We needed a place nearby two unwind before we started our vacation in Grenada (LaLuna). What a surprise. The staff was sweet, especially helpful and though we had planned on dining around the island decided to just stay put. Great service, food, drinks, all in all, a really great find.

“Beautiful location”

I came to Kalinago hotel with my husband and children and we had a groundfloor room, allowing the kids to step out of the terrace directly in the garden ! The garden is small but pretty and leads directly to the white sandy Morne Rouge beach. The turquoise sea is calm and the hotel lend us masks, palms and tubas for snorkeling ! The hotel's swimming pool was just perfect with a little pool suitable for little children who can't swim, and a bigger one for older children and adults. The pool's bar seats (what a great idea!) were comfortable and the barman and barmaid were very pleasant. We ate well at the restaurant and had a great stay !

“Nice place to stay”

We stayed three nights. Hotel room was nice; beds comfortable. We had three persons and thy brought in an extra twin bed, although we could have survived with the the two full size. We were on the second floor. No elevator that I saw. Nice balcony with furniture and good view of the beach. Hotel restaurant had good hours. We only ate breakfast. Food was good but found that we had to be very explicit about what we wanted. Hotel staff was very accommodating. No front desk from 10pm to 730 am. So you need to coordinate early checkout. Hotel is on the beach at the bottom of steep drive. The pool at the at bar was large. Nice atmosphere overall; felt safe. Dogs on hillside barked at any movment in the hotel but rooms were fairly soundproof. Bathroom nice size; tube with shower. Cable TV in room but we didn't use it. Short drive to the airport.
