Lovely villa with an amazing viewPosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: The staff is amazing. The villas have a breath-taking view, they are quite spacious and sparkling clean.
Cons: We had trouble with our refrigerator. They had someone over to look at it the same day. We were given a dinner voucher for 2, for the inconvenience.
Location: There is snorkeling on the beach, otherwise you need a car or taxi to get around the island.
Maca Bana is a wonderful boutique resort. They are about 8 minutes from the airport and yet you do not hear airplanes constantly flying over you. If you are looking for warm weather, a white sandy beach, a breath-taking view and solitude, then Maca Bana is for you. If you enjoy snorkeling, then Magazine beach is the place you want to be. Our stay was quite enjoyable. The staff is warm and friendly and if you need anything, all you need to do is ask. The onsite restaurant, The Aquarium, is situated right off Magazine beach, so you can dine and enjoy the lovely ambiance as you listen to the ocean waves. They do not have a gym at t he moment (however, one will be available in the not so distant future). Nor do they have a spa or a large pool. There is a bit of a climb from the base of the property to the villas; that alone can be a daily workout. A walk on the beach or a swim in the ocean can add to your daily workout. If you feel like you are in the mood for spa services, all you need to do is ask and they will be happy to have someone come to you. The pool they have is small to medium sized, however clean and serene.

Simply AmazingPosted Sep 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Maca Bana was a random find when we were looking for a place in Grenada. It turned out to be the best thing ever. We stayed in the Rock Fig, the location above the cliff is incredible. The villa was small, simple, and perfect. The four poster king bed was centered on the bay window overlooking the cliffs, the bay, and St Georges. It was very clean and modern and perfect for two people. The deck and the hot tub are situated perfectly to relax however you like. The staff is outstanding. Nickson and Raeanna were very helpful, personable, and hilarious. I could go on for days on how amazing this location is, but trust me, it is well worth trying it for yourself. Thanks to all at Maca Bana for your friendship and hospitality. We have found our go-to place for the next time we make it back to your amazing island. Thanks, Rob and Erica

beautiful romantic placePosted Apr 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived late they were at the airport to pick us up. The room was the honeymoon suite and was private and amazing views right from bed. They arranged dinner and stocked the kitchen so we could make our own breakfast and eat on the patio overlooking the ocean. The staff was kind and considerate allowing us a late checkout. We look forward to returning and staying longer as we were totally impressed with your little gem of a place.

Quiet well-appointed room with a fantastic view!Posted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: Quiet, fantastic view, great staff.
Location: St. George's is fun (for a while). Touring the island, the Belmont Estate, Nutmeg facility and the Rivers Rum distillery.
The villa was very comfortable and well-appointed. The full kitchen and double-vanity bath were much appreciated. WE had sufficient food and coffee provided for several days. The staff is top-notch. The wi-fi must be new, I had read about earlier problems with no access. We had full access throughout our stay. The beach directly in front of the resort was perfect for swimming and lounging. The local "salesmen" were not intrusive and respected a polite "no thanks" when provided. A perfect stay!

The hotel is beautiful, eco friendly, and run by a wonderful man; Nixon. The only thing you should know is that you need to take a cab to go into town.
