Beautiful boutique hotel- just book it.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Internet is slow BUT this was not due to their WiFi network it was due to the carrier. The safes in the room were not reliable.
Location: We hired a guide Dave to take us to the rain forest the cocoa plantation and the Rum distillery. Only stayed 3 days before bareboat chartering
Beautiful boutique hotel. Clean, very interesting architecture. Peter Robinson designed and worked on the creation of the hotel and still manages, works around the grounds and helps with luggage. The help were all charming and attentive. I enjoyed this much more than staying at a large hotel. Beautiful view of Secret Harbor. Great restaurant with continental breakfast included. Excellent espresso/cappuccino/lattes. Quiet and peaceful. We have stayed in large expensive hotels all over the world (Ritz, JW Marriott, 4 Seasons, Le Meridien) and they are nice but not as charming, personal or romantic. I was nervous but the reviews were all appropriately lauding.

Wonderful getaway!

Wonderful location, great place to recharge your batteries. New owner is still in the process of making upgrades to the rooms and grounds. We found it to be a very pleasant and comfortable boutique hotel and believe it will be truly splendid once all work has been completed. We did not feel like we were missing out on anything. Linen and towels were high quality and ample. Bathroom facilities excellent and room and bed very good. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. This one gets an A++!

Great Boutique Hotel

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Th location, the restaurant, and the staff
Cons: The hotel does not provide much services (they could add a gym and a SPA)
Location: it's relatively close (5 minutes drive) to most beaches, airport, and St. George.
The hotel is undergoing some important renovations: they are redoing some of the rooms and are optimizing the beach space. Apparently, they are adding a bar and a SPA/wellness center as well. Despite the work in progress, the hotel was fantastic. Its restaurant was delicious and the staff incredibly helpful, welcoming, and polite. The infinity pool is worth the trip, as it guarantees stunning views. The location is just perfect, as the hotel oversees Mount Hartman Bay from an isthmus: you wake up to a great view every morning. The sea is only a few steps away as well, even though it's nothing special if compared to the rest of the island. The hotel provides great Taxi service (ask for Dave) to go about the island - my personal suggestion is to save some time everyday to spend at the hotel though.

Great for a relaxing, private retreat.

Pros: The staff were, without exception, the most helpful and kind I've experienced in a very long time.
Location: Lovely, quiet, relaxing and private. Beautiful views across Secret Harbour.
Nothing was too much trouble, from the unscheduled, early pickup to the late check out on the day of departure for an evening flight home. We were left to use our room until six pm and the full range of the hotel facilities. I'd rate them 6 out of five if I could.

Fabulous

Exceptional experience not to be missed. Huge beautifully finished room with massive 200 sq ft bath, the plushest towels, best high volume double head shower (best one in the Caribbean ). 16 ft wall of windowed doors that open to beautiful view of boats and turquoise water, faces east for cooling breeze. Custom architecture built into the surrounding landscape is both comfortable and inquisitive thought provoking, launching your childish enthusiasm for exploration and wonder. Delicious breakfast, excellent staff, we arrived late, and were shown to our room with out all the formal checki-in formalities, was great to settle in and relax no cc needed. This experience is not to be missed.
