What a marvelous hotel

We came to Spice Island Resort after a week on a Windjammer. The setting and the service were excellent.Everything was easy,from check-in through check-out. We stayed in a Sea Grape Suite, with lounge chairs that afforded us a nice view of the sea. Spice Island is perfect for a quiet vacation, "away from it all." We really enjoyed the Steel Pan Band on Friday evening. The staff was totally attentive to all of our needs. Meals were delicious and they were aware of my need to eat gluten-free. If there were not so many other places in the world to visit, we would go back to Spice Island Resort in a heartbeat.

This is probably one of the best hotel we have stayed in. Everything was fabulous, even to the family seeing you off when you leave. It is not cheap but you do get what we paid for.

Cons: Very little needs to be inproved, the owners have just refurbished.
Location: Location is perfect lots to see and do.
From the moment of our arrival to departure we felt quite at home. the staff and management were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was a wonderful experience. Nothing was to difficult all challenges were dealt with in a very professional way. The friendliness and willingness of the staff was beyound all expections. Never stayed inclusive before and not sure what to expect, this was a pleasure with no pressure. Will surely visit again and maybe before 2014 ends.

Best designed hotel on Grand Anse Bay

Pros: Location, comfort , beautiful layout.
Cons: Food. Cuisine is limited. A buffet would be a nice inclusion.
Location: Airport is 15 minutes away as is St George's , the capital. Interesting and picturesque.
Hotel staff are second to none. Lovely landscaping with beach on your doorstep. From arrival to departure, all staff addressed you by your name . I have travelled to 37 countries and this is the first time I have had this experience. Personal touch is very welcoming. All inclusive with warmth . Small hotel so cosy unlike large ones in Punta Cana or Cancun. Beautiful beach !

Very nice resort. Right on the beach! We were disapointed with the Oleander "ocean-view" room. The "ocean-view" was was very limited due to the large trees and the ocean was only visible by looking over the roof of another building. We complained, and they upgraded us to a Seagrape room which was much better!

An amazing vacation that was enhanced by the resort itself, but more importantly by the attention to detail provided by the resort owners and staff. The food was outstanding--well prepared and presented. An excellent wine list. One of the finest beaches in the Caribbean-- clean and well kept. Perfect weather for 7 of the 8 days I was there. All of this was enhanced by the friendliness of the Grenadian people. I highly recommend this resort.

Location: Terrible
The beach is pubblic and thousands local people play soccer ,have lunch,many childrens ,it is impossible stay in the beach. It is very stupid to pay a lot for this sistemation. The service is terrible,slow slow slow and you have a little choise for the bad food.

A friendly, high quality hotel

Location: The whole island of Grenada is well worth seeing. Either hire a car, Hire a driver or join one of the trips to see the sights being offered by tour operators.
Our second visit to this hotel was as good as the first. The staff are friendly and helpful the accommodation was clean, spacious, comfortable and in our case right on the beach. The food was of a high standard with excellent choices at all meals. We will be going back again for sure.

Spice Island - December family holiday

Location: It's worth taking the time to have a look around St George's and to drive around the whole island. It's refreshingly uncommercial, and unlike some Caribbean islands you never feel threatened or hassled by the Grenadians, who are lovely, open people.
The best service I have ever had in any hotel, anywhere. Unpretentious, meticulous and well-organised, yet sufficiently flexible to deal with a demanding and jet-lagged 3 year old.
