“Clean, Comfortable, but a bit overpriced”

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. For the location of this hotel, it seems to be priced a bit too high. It is conveniently located to the highway, but is the only hotel in that town so it seems like they are charging higher rates because they have no other competition. If you are willing to drive a bit further, there are other hotel options that cost quite a bit less.

“Great hotel”

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will be staying in the area. The staff was great, the room was great, breakfast was great. No complaints at all.

“Surprised”

We have never stayed at a Hampton Inn and we had planned to stay somewhere else that was more expensive but we were use to them. Hampton Inn really surprised us, service was great, amenities were great, the room was really nice and it was a great value for the money. Free wireless and breakfast was awesome. Expedia says microwave and fridge in all rooms but they only have them in the rooms w/2 queen beds FYI

“Very Nice New Hotel”

We needed a place to stay to go to the Martinsville NASCAR race. This was close enough for use and is a fairly new hotel. Employees were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Will book again here next year!

“Hotel, BIG "YES" the town "YAWN"”

Very clean and new looking. Easy to find, right off Route 29. Desk staff- top notch. Atmosphere casual and accomodating. Up to date technologically. NOT that convienient to the lakeside amenities. Great value versus cost. Great room service.

“Excellent Experience!”

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Gretna for two night while taking my college-aged daughter up to work at a camp for the summer. The hotel was very nice and clean. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My GPS did have trouble locating the motel initially until I found the alternate address listed on the page.

We found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and hard working. Our room was immaculate, comfy, and the cleaning service was superb.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and ready early for check in. Breakfast for the morning was great and all the kids got something. I even used the laundry room at the hotel and both worked good and cleaned the clothes well. Only problem was that we have 4 kids, one crawler and 2 that walk very heavy on the floor, so the guests under our room did bang on the ceiling at one point during the night so next time I WILL be requesting a bottom floor room. The hotel appears to be new to the area so there are not a lot of things around it which was a good thing when it came to traffic. My family and I will be staying again, just on the bottom floor.
