Pros: Cost, staff, free parking.
Cons: Not enough staff and somewhat unorganized during breakfast buffet. Commode/shower area too cramp and no exhaust fan. Noisy refrig in room.Small gym.

Convenient place to stay near NOLAPosted Jul 9, 2014
This hotel was in a great location. 5 minutes from the French Quarter and Superdome. It was reasonably priced. A bit worn, but nice enough. Would stay here again

Very nice hotel and awesome staff!Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Amazing staff, clean hotel, well..everything!
Cons: No suggestions.....
Location: Did not use this service.
We met our cousins from Texas here at this hotel before heading for a cruise. The staff was very supportive and assisted us with transportation to the port and allowed us to park in their lot for the week that we were gone for FREE! Yes, FREE! We had 4 vehicles total and would have spent over $400.00 in parking fees. They even called us a cab service and arranged for all 18 of us to travel to the port together for a cost of...ready for this....$25.00 for each suburban. We had 3 suburbans and spent $75.00 each way, only costing us $150.00 instead of over $400.00 for parking. They were amazing our entire stay there. We will definitely return our next trip to New Orleans, LA. Thank you!

Went on vacationPosted May 6, 2014
Pros: The structure - everything quickly accessible. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Cons: Some of the equipment is getting old - elevators, in-room fridge, showers.
Location: Right off the highway as you cross the bridge. Pharmacy, mall, restaurants
Loved the location and the ease to the Quarter plus any necessities you may need are all around the hotel. The staff was awesome and the ease of access to the safety deposit boxes was great. The A/C was perfect. Overall a very pleasant stay and the prices were perfect for that area. I will go back.

Extra ChargesPosted Apr 30, 2014
The hotel was 'ok' to stay in. The beds were decent, shower wasn't that great for the money. Biggest issue I had was finding an extra charge on my VISA after I checked out. I originally booked and paid through Expedia, which was fine but new charges were charged to the VISA I left with the front desk....and I am still fighting the battle.

How disappoiningPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Space in room and quiet
Location: By highway, nothing to do nearby, need transportation to go anywhere.
The king non smoking we booked for 4 nights was very quiet and spacious, but that is about extent of promised comfort. Peeling bubbles off the ceiling, pulled carpeting and exposed staples, the first red flags.Twice, the room was serviced and floors, vanity, sink and tub were not cleaned at all. Vanity items were not replenished. Once we did not even have bath towels -dirty or clean: we called front desk at 8:30am, asked for some new ones and at 9 we had to call again as none had showed up with them. They apologized and said they were on the way, did not arrive until 9:30, delaying our schedule. One morning we left at 9 and returned at 3:30 for resting and showering before going out again, and our room was not yet serviced. Decided to go wait by the pool until it was done. That is when we saw the beauty of it, two roaches and candy wrappers floating in it! And don't even think about using their Round Table Restaurant: the bacon and sausages in the buffet were black with overcooking and sitting there. We then got the skillet: ONLY potatoes and just a few microscopic pieces of the promised veggies and meats in it. We ordered mimosas with our breakfast:waitress came back only with one, they ran out of champagne, and they used a cheap, nasty and flat kind. The cab they called for us did not run its meter, once we realized we got off and he charged us twice as much other drivers have to cover the same distance. When we told the front desk, they shrugged shoulders, with no apologies

Nice distance from the cruise port.Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Very clean and we could leave our car parked there during our cruise.
Cons: When reserving two or more rooms to have them in the same area.
It was a bit difficult to drive to because of all the over and under passes. The rooms were nice and very clean. We would stay there again. I reserved 3 rooms 3 months in advance for our family. I was dissappointed that the rooms weren't even on the same floor. The lobby folks were very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel pretty close to downtown.Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The staff was excellent. There was a problem with our reservation and they took care of it immediately and professionally.
Location: This hotel was pretty close to Downtown, ~$20 cab ride and significantly cheaper than staying downtown.
This Holiday Inn was okay. Our reservation was there and waiting with no problems, the room was clean, it wasn't all that noisy, and there was plenty of parking. The attached restaurant was okay, had a few drinks there one of the nights. I never ate breakfast here so I can't comment to that.
