We had a blast, we really used the pool when it was hot and that kept the kids happy.

“Mardi Gras”

Transferred to this hotel from another due to availability during Mardi Gras, I was able to check in early, with help from the front desk, smooth check in, room was great, nice and quiet place after a long day of parading, checking out was even easier. Was a little concerned about hotel from reading previous reviews, but we found our stay to be very pleasant. No its not a 5 star hotel, but a very comfortable 3 star for sure

“Pleasing Hotel”

Very friendly staff and helpful, one area was wifi, had trouble connecting, but computers in the lobby were sufficient.

Stayed here for three days after a cruise. We were there to spend time at Mardi Gras. The facility was perfect for our needs. The shuttle was available to take us to the ferry as promised, and was there to pick us up when we returned from the city. Not a big elegant hotel, but we were very satisfied since our main reason for being in the area was to go into town. Also spent a day in Gretna at the mall and the boomtown casino. Had a great stay. Even though it rained!

“Great for an inexpensive weekend get away!”

The room was clean although we had no choice but to book a smoking room. There was a slight musty smell but not as bad as I expected. The bed was very comfortable with four pillows. I would recommend booking a room that did not face pool if you feel like sleeping in. The staff was very friendly. I twice had to call the front desk (once for extra towels and once for a dead coffee maker) and both times they were prompt and friendly. This hotel is not the "Ritz", but if you want an inexpensive alternative to (and free parking) the over priced downtown hotels, this is one I would recommend. Also, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the Gretna ferry that drops you right at the aquarium on the river front. If you end up partying after 9pm, the cab ride back was never more than $20 WITH the tip. BTW, that's cheaper than most parking near the French Quarter.

“New Orleans Stay”

Maids were helpful. front desk lady with the green eye lner makeup was as rude as rue can be, all 3 times I asked her for help. Nice place to stay if you need to get in and out of the city quick. Nice morning breakfast, but wouldnt eat lunch or dinner there.

“No way this is a 3 star hotel”

My expectation was higher for a 3 star rated hotel. The property was old. Room was musty with a very loud A/C. Sad breakfast buffet. Would not go back.

“Do not recommend”

This was one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. One nice thing- they let us check in early. Upon entering our room and walking towards the restroom a gush of water came out from under our feet. Yep, our room was flooded! Reported it to the front desk and they were already aware of it and there were no other rooms available. On top of that- our heater/air unit made the worst squealing sound. Our television remote did not work either. Breakfast was very unappetizing as well. It was nice to be offered a hot meal but YUCK! We did report the problems (again) when checking out and received a minimal credit. And I mean minimal. If you can avoid it- don't reserve a room here.
