Worst hotel ever

Posted Jul 1, 2015
This hotel is a dump! Smelly and run down. Pool was green and swampy. The room smelled like mold and mildew. Everything was gross! Never stay here!

Expensive for what you get and very dumpy

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: breakfast wasn't too bad
Cons: everything!
There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby and business center. The pool is non functioning and green. Either drain it or fix it! Looks awful.

Nice hotel, felt safe

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Area
Cons: I prefer queen beds
Location: Very close to the downtown area, short drive
Hotel was great, felt safe (which is an issue with me in New Orleans). It was a group of ladies and never felt any uneasiness. Breakfast was great, room was good, staff was friendly. Definitely my favorite place to stay in New Orleans. The high priced ones may be better, but I'm not spending hundreds of dollars to sleep!

Staff was friendly but hotel was a disappointment.

The pool was down. It was green, and appeared to have been that way for awhile. The WiFi wasn't working in the rooms. Staff was nice and breakfast was ok. They did have strawberry waffles which were good. It is a get what you pay for hotel.

Quality Inn Gretna, LA

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: The room should be renovated and bathroom toilet lid should be replaced. The entry levels and breeze ways need to be cleaned up and the concrete
Location: Close to downtown LA and French Quarter
The room should be renovated and bathroom toilet lid should be replaced. The entry area outside leading to the hotel room is very dirty and unsanitary. The wi-fi and the pool were down during my stay so I feel my pricing should have been reduced since I wasn't able to use everything included with the room.

Pros: Not much depressed Property
Cons: Almost everything
Location: Needed to cross bridge to new orleans
Pool full of green slime; towels not provided every day; electrical receptacles sowed scorch marks; support columns damaged and bent causing side of building to lean. AC had one speed. Bed not changed or made as requested.

Smelled bad

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: This hotel needs many improvements.
Location: okay
When I first opened the door of the room there was a smell. Later that night we discovered that the carpet was wet when we took our shoes off. We checked in about 10:30 pm tired and ready for bed. There were no bath towels, we couldn't plug in the refrigerator and the microwave plug was too short to reach the plug. The staff was not friendly.

Dirty hotel

Posted May 24, 2015
The room we were in was filthy. The sheets and towels were not washed and we found other people's hair everywhere. The tissue and toilet tissue were not replaced. The window shades would not close and people could see right into our room. There was mold in the room. It took about 15 minutes to check in at 10:00 pm.
