Cheap Sleep

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Price was cheap.
Cons: Overall condition of the rooms.
Location: Was convenient to I-75.
The check in staff was courteous and helpful and the price was cheap. The rooms were in need of work as ours had a large stain on the carpet, the smoke detector was missing and a light was out. The room was clean and we only slept over late after a Braves game. The breakfast only had a couple of cereals with juice and milk.

I did not have high expectations due to the budget

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Nothing. See above.
Cons: All of the above.
Location: Did not apply. Just stopped to break a long journey.
The room had a vey large smoked mirror at the bed head. Very unnerving. (Two way?) There were two TVs (old tube TVs). One did not work at all. The other, obviously brought in as a replacement was defective and unwatchable. I was unable to access the "Free WiFi Internet" at all. In order to hold water in the bathroom sink to have a shave I first had to fix the stopper/plug which had been incorrectly installed. There was a small coffee maker but only one sachet of coffee and creamer - hardly enough for two adults. The "continental breakfast" consisted of some kind of processed cinnamon buns and two choices of cereal. No real one ingredient foods - just junk full of genetically modified organisms and dangerous unhealthy additives. Not really fit for human consumption. I had to go out for breakfast.

Nice hotel for the price

Posted Mar 19, 2014
It was a pretty decent experience. We wasn't supposed to check in until 3pm but the hotel owner let us check in at 8am which was fantastic along with the stay. I'd define lay recommend this to a friend.

Worst hotel. Don't even stop by rooms stink, no towels or wash clothes had to get from desk then they were thin and stained. Opened closet and there was a pile of dirty nasty used towels on floor. Also garbage cans were still full from last guest. And plz don't sleep on sheets

I didn't even stay; no early check in.

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Cons: Adjust the early check-in policy to accommodate renters who arrive early.
Location: I stayed at The Hilton Garden Inn because this place wouldn't let me check in early. The Hilton Garden Inn has MUCH better service.
I arrived in McDonough at 12:00pm and I wanted to check into my room, take a shower, use the bathroom, and put my stuff down. They had a STRICT no early check-in policy that wouldn't allow me into the room i PAID for until 3:00pm. So I was forced to find another hotel who would accommodate my needs. I went to the Hilton Garden Inn and had to pay $188 per night just because I wanted a room at noon. Worst of all, Americas Best Value Inn & Suites won't give me a single cent of my money back for the room i PAID for but never used. Apparently, the needs of their customers means NOTHING in the face of making a quick profit. Shame on you!

horrible EXSPERENCE....

Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Left Saturday morning to go to the wedding, and was 2 miles down the road when I realized my gas tank was empty. Stopped and filled back up, but had d
Cons: clean the place up, fix all broken items, and DO NOT STEAL. out of the rooms, nor out of the vehicles.
Location: My niece got married, and it all went well, till I got home and realized the wedding photos , with my cameras are gone... sad couple w/o photos...
We arrived at the Inn at 3:pm, and checked in. We went up to the room, and it felt like 100* degrees in there, but then so did the hallway to the rooms. 3 adults and a 1yr.old and 1 two yr. old What we found was broken cabinet doors, dirty sink, dirty fridge, dirty floors, and the bathroom was terribly filthy. I went down to ask about another room and they said they were filled up. I asked about having the room cleaned, and was told no maids. By this time, I am stuck, because we were having a wedding, and there was no motel or hotel within 50 miles with an available room. We left, went to the rehearsal supper friday night, and took photos for the what went on friday night. The bride is my niece, so we were doing our family photos for her friday night and the groom had his aunt do his family friday night also. Strange setup I know, but we got all family members out of the way, so on Saturday, only the Bride and Groom and wedding party would get theirs taken. Got back to the Inn about 10pm, and it was still hot. Went down to ask again about another room, and was told again, no maids, no other rooms available. I asked about a fan, and reluctantly, got one.
