The good the bad and the uglyPosted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: Very stylish done considering the reasonable price.
Cons: Read above. The failing toilet had a temp wax ring to keep it barely usable. They should have called a plumber long before my stay.
Location: Just outside Atlanta. Stone Mountain, many antique stores and flea markets. Many places to eat. Great scenery driving through the country.
I always try to stay a Choice Hotels. This was the best one I have stayed in. Clean, quality furniture and the meager breakfast was acceptable, I mean you can't beat free :-). However there was a young man at the desk who made a mistake with our keys. Allowed teenagers to sit on top of the front desk and socialize. And failed to follow up with my only concern. We didn't have a working toilet in my room for the last 14 hours of our stay. We had to bail water into the tank with the trash can. I asked the young clerk to make an adjustment on my bill. He said he couldn't because I PAID THROUGH EXPEDIA! He told me he guaranteed that the general manager would give me a call. It never happened. BTW....the response from the hotel internet survey, came back with a "form" thank you letter for taking the survey.

VERY HELPFULPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Th room size was very spacious, pillows nice and soft
Location: location was excellent with lots of choices to dining and shopping
I had reconstructive ankle surgery and the staff made it very easy for me to get a comfortable room/handicapped accessible. This room was such a very spacious room that helped me in such a difficult time. I would highly recommend this hotel as the greeter/front desk personell of this hotel was very friendly and made me smile.

Me and my fiancé come up here to mcdoungh every weekend and stay here we love it. Super clean and the beds are the most comfortable beds we ever laid in. The stuff is just as friendly as ever. Always willing to let our check out time be at 1 and we love that we love not being rushed. Thank y'all for a great place to stay

Close to Atlanta Motor Speedway & HighwayPosted Sep 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was very friendly & the hotel was very clean. The beds were super comfy, I didn't want to get up. My only issue is not being from the area & coming back from the race at night, it was difficult to see the turn to get back to the hotel (small cross road), there was no sign that told you were to turn, so we missed it & had to turn around. Other then that had a great time & will stay here again, if we come back to the race.
