I don’t like giving negative reviews, but there was enough wrong with my stay that I feel the need to share. The manager on duty on the evening of my arrival (12/31/18), that checked me in appeared to be grumpy and had no patience when guiding me on the credit card card machine. I was like, “hello and welcome to you too!” Mind you, our interaction was about a good 3 minutes flat. Not sure if this was because I am a woman or because it sucks to be working on New Year’s Eve. I say the woman part because he appeared to be from elsewhere, not American. The toilet in my room was not bolted onto the floor and made annoying noises when sitting/standing up from it. I never complained as I got this room at the rate of $65 per night (and you get what you pay for I guess)? To add to that, each and every night we were there ( approx 4 nights), we were awoken at 3:30am by what appeared to be residents that lived there and got up to go to work at that time. They appeared to be filling up their vehicle with water?? To our luck, they did this right in front of our door each and every night. It sounded like a couple, and they’d speak loudly (almost as if arguing) and as if they were the only ones there with no regards for those who were sleeping...UNACCEPTABLE!!! In any event, we were there for leisure and to explore ATL. The motel somewhat met our needs, but we won’t be returning to this location (or ATL), hopefully for a long time to come. Sorry.
