Nice hotel but a bit old

Everything good the only 'problem' was that the building is a bit old

Nice hotel, in the centre of town

Posted Oct 30, 2013
About a 15 minute walk from the train station, but very close to the historic centre of the town. Very helpful and friendly staff. Free WiFi available in all rooms, with a paid (but reasonably priced) upgrade to an "unlimited" service if you want to watch movies online or similar. (This also gives you free international phone calls, which was very useful for me). Breakfast was fairly standard, but quite acceptable, and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Great hotel, but terrible internet

Posted Apr 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was superbly located downtown and had everything necessary (including exceptional service), but the internet connection was so slow that I could not connect to my work email. As I was on a business trip, this was very problematic.

The hotel is between 3 and 4 ****. Room is not airconditioned and for hot weather is not acceptable.

Nice for a weekend stay

Posted Nov 20, 2010
Pricey for what you get, but overall a nice hotel with nice amenities. Pros: Clean, lobby area is beautiful, nice Dutch breakfast with many types of breads, in a great location just next to the university and the center of town (5 minutes walk), and free use of bikes Cons: Free wireless internet is only available in the lobby, if you want to use it in your room, there's a high fee, and the one computer in the business center was broken. The room was small and bed was hard. Front desk people not very friendly.

Avoid

Rude staff, filthy rooms, poor service, unanswered calls to the front desk
