Great Hotel in Groningen
Excellent for business at the university hospital. Great breakfast, great staff. 5 minute walk into the centre of town. Loved the complimentary sweets and fruit!

It’s just in front of UMCG hospital, first floor you can select where to eat with few restaurants, shopping store where you can find the basic things you need, a big place, there’s a place to sit & enjoy the sun

Very close to the hospital and with easy walking distance of the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and maintained well. I would definitely stay here again.

hotel is well located & very clean.We booked a double superior room. we were allocated a room with single beds. our only option for a double bed was to downgrade our room. staff were very pleasant but no recompence for downgrade offered

Nice hotel in Groningen
This is nice Hotel near the Medical centre. Overall it's fine but some of the fixtures and decor are a bit old and could do with updating

The staff in this hotel are very helpful, polite and friendly. However, the hotel is in a serious need of renovation. The rooms are tired and apparently all beds are on wheels, which don't all have breaks.

Dirty two star hotel
This is NOT a four star hotel. It is more like a run down two or three star motel. The green sofas in the room were dirty with stains of dubious origin. Walls are stained and paint peeling off. Window frames very dirty. The bathroom gloomy. Internet is slow. One of the receptionists was plainly rude. The only positive thing to say is that breakfast is good and staff there helpful. Even if clean this hotel cannot be by any standards a four star hotel.

Value for money, and pleasant stay
Pleasant stay, value for money. Ask for a room with a view, definitely worthwhile. Room was well cleaned on arrival. Placed a bit out of the center of town, but within walkable distance, or easy public transport.

The hotel is centrally located in Groningen, very close to the main entrance of the UMCG (University Medical Center Groningen), and it is only a ten minutes walk to Grote Markt/Martinitoren. There are very good bus connections to the Hoofdstation (Main Station). Our standard room on the 9th floor was very nice with a pleasant view oft he city. The beds were very comfortable with pleasant bed linen, and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant closes at 2100, but it is stated that it should be possible to get food and drink 24/7, and that the bar is sort of self-service. For us, this proved not to be quite true, but maybe we were just unfortunate.
