Great hotel with good attention from hotel staff.Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: Customer service, Very spacious room. Good beach service. Very family friendly.
Cons: More food choices- need more restaurant.
Location: Close to their main shopping center.
Very glad booking this hotel. Good customer service. Has it's own beach club and beach. All the staff are nice and greeting. The only disadvantage is- too far away from airport. Also not many choices on the restaurant.

Nice facilities, terrible housekeepingPosted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Big apartment, clean beach, good food.
We were very pleased with the size of our apartment and the huge balcony. The beach and pool areas were clean with plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and the food at the restaurants was of a much higher standard than we have experienced at other "all-inclusive" resorts. The bellboy who showed us to our room told us that we would get housekeeping twice a day, and that things such as towels, toiletries, and laundry detergent would be replaced as we used them. For the first two nights, we did not get any evening "turndown" service. Oh well, we can live without it. But the daytime service got later and later until the last day, when they did not come at all! We called to complain and were told they would send someone while we were out at dinner. We came back and the beds had been "turned down", but no one had done any of the other standard daytime things like cleaning up the dishes or taking out the trash. Turndown service also got later and later throughout the week, to the point that our children were in bed and we were in our pajamas when they finally showed up. Also, we were reusing our towels most of the time, but about three days before we left they started taking away things like bathmats and not replacing them. They also stopped bringing new toiletries and the laundry detergent was never replaced throughout our stay. The microwave in our apartment was also broken and the washing machine leaked all over the floor.

Time Share HotelPosted Mar 15, 2015
The resort is really just a timeshared owned facilities. The rooms are very spacious and nice and they do have a nice small beach, however do not expect a "resort" style hotel. Pools are small, restaurant is very overpriced, and food is marginal. Plan on grocery shopping and making dinner in the room or going elsewhere to eat.

The Landings - beautiful resort - weak staffPosted Mar 15, 2015
The Landings is a very beautiful resort to stay if you are planning a trip to St.Lucia. The suites are beautiful with beach and sunset views. With that said, the service staff and food leave plenty of room for improvement. (That is when executive management LEAVE the premises) management was there for the first three days of our trip and the staff, service, and food was outstanding. However, on the fourth day, when they left, it was obvious that the staff and chef were only putting on a "show" for the executives. The food options were horrendous - odd buffets every night with cold/reheated leftovers and the staff became rude with in-fighting and jokes at guests expense. One of the butlers felt it necessary to tell a staff member to "be nice" as she was mocking a guest leaving dinner one night. I was beside myself with disbelief, when I witnesed this behavior. It's sad that their service was so inconsistent, because the beautiful resort deserves so much better.

Absolutely the best!Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: The accommodations, location, staff, fantastic view from the huge balcony
Cons: To nitpick, the sit-up bicycle in the gym was not working. The staff were informed and took steps to immediately fix the problem.
Location: The island's only 18 hole golf course.
The accommodations, location, service, view, facilities, beach, available activities and the nearby only 18 hole course on the island, beach are superb.

Spacious and close to beachPosted Mar 10, 2015
Wonderful! We had a 3 bedroom suite on the marina. Very spacious! Easily fits 2 couples or families. Huge living area and deck with hot tub. The beach was beautiful and had a lovely view in both directions. Food was excellent. Only negative is that it is far from the airport and the pitons.

Very well equipped and spacious rooms, super beachPosted Feb 19, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed there for 7 nights in double bedroom suite. Suites are really perfect, they are very big, 2 huge terraces with lots of chairs to sit and even sleep. What we liked that all the equipment, furnishings was very high class, like Miele etc. We had 3 restrooms in the suite, washing mashine, drying machine, cofee machine etc. Another very good point is hotel's own beach. You can walk there from the suite in a few minutes. The beach is shallow, good sand, free toys for kids, swimming equipment. Some of moments that need improvement was food and to some extent staff. FOr example when we booked the room, in their website there is a photo which clearly shows plundge pool in 2 bedroom suite. They said that we needed to tell them this in advance (though there was no option like this in the hotels.com). And even when we asked for that our local concierge they said we would need to pay additional for this. So we did not get what we expected and got no compensation for this. Another thing was food. Breakfast for this luxury kind of hotel was weak and poor staff. Having dinner in the evening was nice because of view and place - right in front of the beach with a view to the ocean, big candles everywhere. One more thing that you cannot go anywhere from the hotel without a taxi. Staff in the hotel in general does their job. But it seems that most of staff just does their job as minimal as they can and do not care much.

Resort direttamente sulla spiaggiaPosted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: Su magnifica spiaggia perfettamente attrezzata. Pulizia eccezionale delle camere e di tutta la struttura. Disponibilità dello staff.
Cons: Nato come residence multiproprietà, trasformato in resort, necessita di animazione e di pasti buffet.
Location: Sulla spiaggia, vicino a Rodney Bay, Pigeon Island, Castries. Dall'aeroporto usare Airport Shuttle Island, ottimo servizio.
Bellissima e nuova struttura, solo suite, con una, due o tre camere da letto, soggiorno-cucina attrezzata e baqni , con arredamento accogliente.

Great stayPosted Feb 2, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was quiet while we were there, which was great for space on the beach, and not having to fight for a lounge chair, etc, but it also left us feeling like the resort was in need of more energy and character. Food on the entire island is very expensive, and this hotel is no different. We were a bit disappointed that the food was not better for the price we were paying. We stayed in a beach front unit which was amazing with our young daughter. Being able to walk right out to the beautiful, kid friendly beach with her was great, and we could also enjoy sitting on our front patio admiring the ocean during her naps. Our two bedroom unit had a walk in closet in the master that was big enough for a crib if needed. The unit was beautiful and clean and over-all we really enjoyed our stay.
