Baseball tournament
Posted Jan 14, 2013
Pros: Very large rooms and space
Location: We were there for a baseball tournament, which was only 10 minutes away.
The hotel was under heavy construction but we were made very comfortable anyway.

Very nice hospitality!!

Pros: Staff service
Cons: Small
Location: Nice location!
We stayed here on our way home from NC. We checked in kinda late about 9:30pm we asked the gentleman at the desk if we could still swim (our kids really wanted to swim) he said as long as we are not messing around they would keep it open later for us. Which was really nice after driving for 11 hours! We asked if we could get a crib since our portable crib was packed, they brought us a crib right away and set it up!! Our room was comfortable! The hotel offered us a hot buffet breakfast which was very nice! The lady working in the breakfast area that morning was so friendly, she was very sweet! There was a bus load of high school or college aged kids there thy morning and she was very busy but still was able to help everyone out! She noticed we needed a highchair and went and got it right away! The service of the staff was very pleasing! We enjoyed our stay!

Nice hotel in Grove City
Posted Jan 19, 2013
This Hampton Inn is an older hotel that has been renovated and is kept in clean condition. Overall our stay was very nice. No major issues to report. The room, hallways, lobby were all clean. We tried the pool, and its very nice although the temperature of the water was on the cold side. The hot tub was nice and without issue. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The only negatives are there is no elevator for hauling the stuff to the upper floor which isn't ideal when traveling with kids. Also, the bed for whatever reason made our backs hurt the following day. Otherwise, a great hotel on the south side of Columbus.

Unimpressed overall, two chairs in room both uncomfortable, three drawer chest bottom drawer wouldn't open, no exercise equipment or room. Beds and covering were comfortable though.

Nice and clean

One of the cleanest Hampton Inn's I can recall, if that matters to you. Only possible negative is you have to take the stairs to the second floor. I assume handicapped would be put on first floor, though.
