First we got there and they tried to charge me a fee on top of what Expedia charges as I’m sitting there talking to the guy trying to get an explanation on why he’s trying to double charge me a roach come crawling down the wall in the across the desk, the attendant portrayed like he didn’t even see it on top of that they charge me $80 and didn’t let me stay

Checked in bedding was yellow. It was snowing all day so daily or snow removal metal stairs slipped and fell. Manager on duty called police instead of trying to help me refused clean bedding. Checked out refused refund for 2 night stay room was not touched.

The TV didn’t work, and the maintenance man came in and tried to break my property. Never got the cable box working had to use my devices the Internet didn’t work very well. Room had roaches. The front desk service was mediocre at best when you walked up the stairs and walked up to the second floor. It felt like you were gonna go through the floor also in the room it felt like you were gonna go through go through the floor. Overall, it is a poor hotel I would not recommend

The room reeked of smoke. There was a hole in the door frame where a lock should have been. The phone didn’t work. The TV didn’t work. Parts of the stopper were sitting in the bathtub. When I went to ask for a refund, I was told the front desk staff could no longer do that — only the owner — because they had been giving too many refunds.

Convenient location, good value for a night's rest. The room itself was clean, but there was considerable damage to the bathroom door--the frame looked like the door was kicked in at some point. Walking distance to Rooster's and White Castle, and relatively quiet area. Having a mini-kitchen in the room was nice, but not used due to just being there for the night. The property could use a little improvements/renovations, but overall nothing that would prevent me from coming back if need-be.

Poor Shower Design
Who designed your new bathrooms with showers? Did you pay somebody to do that? A couple of suggestions - 1) Fire the designer. 2) Get a higher lip for the outside edge. 3) Get longer shower curtains or move the bar down and into the shower so that water doesn't pour all over the floor and mix with urine. 4) Put in some corner shelves so that the person taking a shower has a place to put their bar of soap and shampoo when not in use.

Bathroom floor was loose. Caulk in tub was dirty and missing. Corners of room had grime build up.Area surrounding entry doorwas very scuffed up and grimey. Outlets were outdated and not even close to being square.Sounds insignificant but it made the whole experience dirtier. The a/c was so loud. For the price it wasn’t bad, however if you expect a clean modern place you out of luck

Not worth the few dollars saved
Very unclean. Food and drink smeared on the walls from last guest, bloody Band-Aid on the floor, stains on the sheets, and the list could go on. The smell of cleaner (or whatever it was) made our clothes and luggage smell so bad I had to put it in the back of the truck for the ride home. EVERYTHING we brought had to be washed and sanitized when we got home.

It smelled really bad. In the room..you can tell a pet was once there...the cleanliness was horrible they switched my room after the second night.vto a room that smelled of cat piss... I felt like i was veing bitten by something ...it was nothing like I remember it to be years ago.

I like that they have a roosters right to the red roof. I did not like that my room smell a lot like smoke Maybe was my fault for not requesting a non smoke room .

Nice shower
I give it a 3.5. Didn't like the cleaner smell. Nice size tv, but the volume wouldn't adjust. Great shower and height of the toilet. Overall satisfied.

Staff was friendly and the nightly rate is very reasonable. The single room was smaller than I was expecting, maybe because I was in a corner near a utility closet. Because I was in the corner, it was quiet and nobody walked by. There was a soft spot in the floor of the bathroom, but the shower was fine in terms of cleanliness and water pressure. The AC was loud but effective. There were about 40 channels on TV. I was considering bringing my dogs but there is a pet policy allowing only one animal per room.
